Giggling up a storm, I pushed Emily away to properly pack the barrels I'm sending home to daddy and Horace.

"There is no space in there." She points at it.

"It's suppose to be like that." I laughed, locking it after I put the last snacks in.

"I can buy you others, this feels cheated." She worries.

"It's how it is suppose to be."

"Everything is suppose to be this and that. They can burst in there." She fussed.

"That won't be my problem." I laughed, writing name, address and shipping info on there.

"Come on Sani." She stood akimbo. "Everyone of them is overfilled."

Clothing and shoes, books and games, tools and equipments.

Baby stuffs filled one since daddy went ahead and got my step mother pregnant at last. She made me experienced the taste of fast food and gift me on my birthdays or Christmas. I love her for it so this me thanking her.

I also put some maternity clothes and pads in there.

Another barrel has Horace things specifically. He can judge Polo for two whole months. Hats, shirts, shorts, hoodies and slides.

My favorite cousin deserves to be spoiled.

Yeah, cause as soon as mih mek him pay the obeah man fih mih, two days passed and the bitch dead.

Scammer bore him up wid bullet fih threaten a man mada.

Mih pay him back suh fih him duppy cyaw come hunt or ride mih fih him money. Straight.

Three barrels filled with food and one with soaps and hygiene items.

Mrs. Welsh pays me great.

An it's up to daddy and Horace if dem wah give the family anything.

"You're not packing the pads?" She inquired and I shook my head. "Can I ask why?"

I smiled, writing on it as I spoke. "I never tell anyone this, but only my cousin knew. It's just how you're close with Camryn, I'm like that for Horace. He's like the big brother I never had, and he's always providing me with pads since the day I started my cycle."

She listened on.

"I was in pain and my clothes was messed up terribly. I didn't know what to do so I went to an aunty and she said pads are expensive and if she gave me some, what will her daughter have. I asked another and she laughed, ignoring me. I used tissue, cotton, plastic and a piece of cloth to make myself a pad. Only one and..." I laughed at the memory.

"Sani..."

"It lasted hours as the flow wasn't heavy. I woke up to pain in my stomach. I thought it was from the period but I was wrong. My aunt missed a pack of Always brand pad and came to beat me. The commotion drew crowd and she found out that another niece took it and she calmed. I didn't get an apology but Horace stood up for me, going against his mom and bought me pads with his entire savings. I didn't get money from them as they often took what daddy sent for me. So, whenever I have my period Horace will just gift me with my favorite pads and buy me chocolate."

I laughed more, not tearing up as I would have done in the past.

"No matter the type or size, he just bought me what's left of his saving to buy the chocolate." I stood and looked at Emily who was in tears. "He's never the type to express his feelings but as his favorite cousin, he said that when a man gift me chocolate, it's because he loves me. An I got chocolate every month on the five day of my cycle. I love everything he does for me, because he showed how much he loves me more than his own sisters. Since I value myself and always listens to him, he said a lot of wise things pertaining to it. An one day if I have a daughter, I'll teach her what he taught me."
