{Player has slept! HP and MP have been restored!}
I woke up on the park bench while tossing the mana blanket off of me, watching it start to float with all the other objects I had made yesterday, confirming it wasn't all just some crazy realistic dream. On the one hand, that kinda scares me, but on the other hand, I get to travel the world as I please, which I definitely like.
I got off the park bench and stretched a bit before grabbing the objects floating around me and slowly making them all into a compressed ball of mana, which took me around ten minutes. I decided to leave it floating around my head while I checked the time.
6:37 AM. Barely Sunrise.
I guess that explains why it's still dark out. Anyway, I began walking down the park while thinking about how I would go about getting a place to live. I'm still a minor after all, so I'm not expecting to be able to just walk into a place and buy an apartment or something like that. Actually, can't I just get a mask and lie about my age? No, that's not hero-like... Then again I killed two men yesterday, so I guess lying about my age wouldn't be the worst thing I've ever done.
Actually, on the subject of things I've done, I've been wondering about how I was capable of manipulating my mana so easily. I mean, from what fanfiction has taught me, I shouldn't be able to manipulate it with such ease, right? Hold on, let me re-read the description for {Mana Manipulation (Novice)} real quick.
- Mana Manipulation (Novice) 2/25
Allows the user to manipulate the mana within their body as they see fit.... Huh. I mean, I know it said "as they see fit," but I wasn't expecting it to allow me to manipulate it so well so soon... I should try to level this up ASAP, the question is how do I level this up? Actually, on the subject of mana, I need to level up {Mana Bullet} since it's still at level 1. Best way to do that would be to probably just shoot my entire mana supply out at once, if I get XP per bullet that is. If it's just per kill with the skill then I suppose going to the Zombie ID would be a good idea. Actually, going to the Zombie ID is a good idea regardless of if I get XP per bullet or per kill. With that thought in mind, I activated {ID Manipulation} and chose the Zombie ID.
{Entering Zombie ID}
Still not use to the feeling of falling, but I'm back in this rundown city. I fired a bullet at the first zombie I saw, not even bothering to use {Observe}, and waited for the rest of the zombies to come straight to me. Once I saw the first one crawl out of a building I shot its head off and I just kept doing that for the rest of the hoard of... 30? Last time it was 25. Anyway, the Tank came again and made me realize I was going to be forced into actually fighting it this time since I didn't have a Molotov.
Sadly for the Tank, I still had over 2000 MP, and I was very much so capable of spilling it all into a single charged shot, which took off half of its health and stunned it. After that I just took out the combat knife I had, jumped on its back, and started riding it like a cowgirl while stabbing it in the head repeatedly until it died, which didn't take very long.
{Critical Kill! +10 XP! x30}
{Level 1 Kill! +50 XP! x30}
{Critical Kill! +100 XP!}
{Level 10 Kill! +500 XP!}
{Mana Bullet leveled up! +1 WIS! x4}
{Level up! x2}
{Level 10 reached! Store open for business!}
Huh? Oh, I completely forgot the store was something I could unlock. I'll check that out later. First, what are these other notifications I got?
