'I'm really in Halo...' Was the first thought Ash had when she came out of her shock, looking around with amazement in her eyes. She knew a few gamer fanfictions allowed the {Player} to enter video games, but to actually experience it herself was amazing. Although, she eventually snapped out of her amazement and turned to face the escape pod, and the few bodies on the ground near the door.

"... That must have hurt." She muttered as she looked down at the few people that had gotten out of the escape pod. Their corpses were still warm, which meant the crash must have happened somewhat recently.

During her look around the outside of the pod, she found an assault rifle and picked it up, quietly feeling out the intricate yet simple frame that seemed to fit her hands almost perfectly, before using {Observe} to check its stats.

MA5B Assault Rifle

Rarity: Common

20 DMG/shot (+50% against armor)

A standard issue MA5B Assault Rifle, its armor-piercing capabilities allowing it to kill a standard Elite in less than one magazine.

'That'll be helpful against the Covenant, especially since I don't have an easy way around their shielding.' Ash thought as she put the Assault rifle in her inventory, before looking inside the pod and coming face-to-face with a legend.

"... Hello there, John." Ash muttered as she looked up at the unconscious spartan, who easily towered over her in terms of height. Her neck was starting to hurt just from looking directly at his visor.

"How long until he wakes up?" Ash asked her system as she moved past the spartan, checking around the escape pod for any extra guns.

'Thanks.' Ash nodded at the timer that popped up before grabbing a pistol off one of the dead marines and using {Observe} for obvious reasons.

M6D Magnum

Rarity: Common

50 DMG/shot (+25% against armor)

A standard issue M6D Personal Defense Weapon System, commonly referred to as the M6D Pistol, or just M6D for short. Despite its small, 12-round magazine, the M6D can reliably kill a standard Elite in one magazine, if aimed correctly.

Ash ignored the longer description for the smaller gun and headed back outside of the pod, only to be met with a covenant ship, which she instantly recognized as a Spirit, begin to lower down near the pod.

Something that didn't happen in the canon game.
