The man walks through the night, blade bloody and heavy.
After fighting a demon and saving the village, quite daring.

He had entered the forest with sword in hand,
To protect this village, and to protect the land.

The demon was fierce, eyes burning bright.
But the man was fearless, standing up to the fight.

The demon tried to overpower, him with all it's night.
But that man was too skilled to be defeated by its spite.

With a final blow, the man stuck down the beast.
Saving the village, proving himself a hero at least.

He returns now, wounded and unbowed,
With the admiration and respect, from the elders bestowed.

Although his body may still ache, and his heart holding some pain.
A hero he leaves, but a hero he will remain.

Giyu wandered into the village. After enquiring about the demons location and leaving he found himself being greeted by the village elders.

As he enters Giyu can really take time now to adorn the village ahead of himself.

He is met with peacefulness and sound of birds singing from the forest behind him. It was finally at peace. A warm glow was cast upon the village as the early morning sun shined its light below.

As he walked closer towards the elders he could smell the food being cooked from the local houses, and the smell of fresh tea broke into the air. He could hear the children, playing and running in the streets, no fear of what lies in the world.

He looks towards the Main Street in the village, taking in the beauty of the buildings, intricate patterns adorned by bright colours on the traditional wooden architecture.

Signs lining up in the street, announcing the various business they have. A local Inn for traveler's. A rice shop and even an apothecary. Though small, one could only admire and have a sense of wonder at the uniqueness of it.

Giyu notices the elders of the village now heading towards the town hall, not saying or marking any movements, but gesturing him to follow.

As he made his way through the village he could overhear the various conversations from the village residents, from discussions about the weather to the price of rice balls.

He could hear some still mentioning the sudden disappearance of some of the other residents. Knowing now it will just be a rumour and no more will occur.

As he passed the local rice shop, he stopped himself before a little girl, hand filled with bags of rice ran past.

"I'm sorry mister! I didn't see you" panicking she may have overstepped her mark, she passed Giyu a small rice ball.

"It's nothing much but take it as a token of my apology"

And with that the little girl ran forward. Making way to other business' and peoples homes, delivering rice to each and every, all with a smile never leaving her face.
