'Nice place they got here', Luci tells himself. He was glad to see a place that actually has life in it, rather than the usual dark and gloomy areas he had been used to.
'Actually, taking a longer time here may not be such a bad idea'.
At this point Luci was considering to just take it easy and relax here. Just watching the bright colors in the area is way more entertaining than being up in the snowy mountains, the dark fog, or even the coven. Luci does not have much of a personal connection to the coven he resides in, and while he was glad to meet people there that like him and vice versa, he'd rather be out in the world exploring.
'Those white-feathered-winged guys and their disciples sure have it easy', thinking about the angels. 'Well I guess this is what they get for being the "good guys', Luci sighs inwardly.
He had always questioned why the angels get to have all the good things to them. Humans love them, the sun loves them, the earth loves them, the sea loves them, everyone loves them!
Angels do good things, so they get good things thrown at them in return. So why can't they as well? Luci has had this conversation with himself mire times than he can count. Yet those thoughts and feelings of his never changed.
'Why cant we just all stop killing ourselves?', another question he often asked himself.
'Let's just share this place. The angels can give us some nice trees and plants to take home, we can even have those things they call picnics here with them too, so why don't they?', he asks himself.
He struggles to find the answers to the questions he asks, yet he knew what the answer was all along.
'Because they are good. And we are bad'.
Always the same answer. The most irrefutable fact on this world. Always one side against the other.
The light cannot be with the darkness.
The good cannot be with the bad.
Him and his kind were seen as monsters, and while he did understand that the blood-sucking and the man-eating part of them were far from the norm of humans, he at least wanted them to understand their kind as well.
'Another shame really, could've been really fun I guess', Luci once again understood the answer.
But it was an answer he never once accepted.
'We still won't stop trying'.
Looking at the green fields, the tall trees, the colorful flowers one by one, closing his eyes.
And just after he was done committing everything into memory, he opens his eyes and turns his attention onto the figures on the trees.
On top of the trees' branches were several people dressed in black robes.
Some of them eating, some lying down, and some were going down the trees.
'Black robes huh? Now that's insulting. But today of all days. Cheeky if I say so myself. And you call yourselves good'. He mutters.
As the ones lying down got up and were seemingly getting ready to leave, Luci doesn't avert his eyes, and instead prepares to start his assault on them, stretching his fingers.
'Well now, time for the bad guy to do bad things'
Luci keeps his eyes on the people coming down from the tree branches.
Each member of this group is wearing a dark robe, almost similar to the ones he and Malena are wearing.
At first, Luci wanted to jump out of hiding and just run through everyone in the group, and make their deaths swiftly and quickly. However, after a bit of thinking, he thought about the possibility that he may learn something from this weird situation in front of him.
