The first ray of the sunrise fell on the black bedsheets, this time the sunrays fell on his face enough to make him stir. The dark failed to absorb anymore darkness, he covered his face with his cushion and tried to sleep but the sunrays continued to disturb him. He opened his eyes with a jerk and sat back, the morning rays almost blinded him. He groaned feeling the sudden invasion of light in his room and ready to yell on his sub staff when his gaze fell on the woman sleeping on reclining chair, placed next to the huge glass window. She covered herself with her shawl, her face was covered with her hairs and legs were wrapped around her chest. He couldn't help to stop himself from kneeling before her and stare at her face, not even in dreams of he imagined this woman to be in his life, as his wife. How will he able to adjust with her? Sharing same roof, same room is overwhelming in itself, the man who never talked to any woman unless it's business related now has to live with her, accept her in his life, probably free up his heart for her. She stepped in this marriage with expectations, would he be able to live upto her expectations?
Would he?
His experience with women was not easy, it's surely not going to be easy for him. But why did she sleep here? A part of him wished to make her sleep back on the bed but he retreated his hands back and drew the curtains before walking baxk to his gym. The entire villa was still decorated with exotic flowers and lights, ready to witness a start of new life under this roof but it was not able to make him feel anything. Raman felt emptiness inside his heart while doing his regular workout. The exercise helps one to forget the current issues going in the life, the same happened with him. He started to run on trademill hoping it would help him to divert his mind and the same happened.
The next one hour proven as a distraction for Raman.

Santhosh Bhalla checked her wrist watch, it was already nine of the morning. She was sceptical to check her new daughter in law or not, she lift her hand to knock the door but the door opened with a churn making her aware that her son might not be in the room. She slowly entered inside the room which was pitch dark in the broad sunlight, Raman has started enjoying the darkness with his growing age. His father and her former husband who loved brightness all around, alloted the exquisitc and the most beautiful room to his son but instead of enjoying the serenity and beauty of this room, he transformed it into a world where he don't want any bright light to enter. She knew her one step, her one step has ruined her son's life beyond repair. She hoped if his wife would bring love and peace in his life.
She started removing the thick black curtains and then her gaze fell upon the girl she was looking for. As the first sunrays kissed her face, her face glowed like a fresh meadow. Her angelic face brightened just like a bright sunrays, she holds power to make everything better around her. She couldn't stop herself from smiling and caressing her head lovingly, the anxiety of coming into a new home, starting a new life with a stranger is never easy.
"Ishita!" She called her name as softly as possible, hoping it doesn't make her scared.
"Hmm....five minutes more Amma." She blabbered in her sleep and drew her shawl above her face making her chuckle. "Wake up darling."
