"Arghhh......kill me murugan." Ishita crouched down and held her stomach mumbling curse to all possible persons who were behind this excruciating pain. She somehow managed to sit on the bench and wiped off the sweat forming on her forehead. Periods, her worst nightmare were there to make her cry again. Ishita Iyer never had normal periods, from the past few years she is suffering from Menorrhagia which makes her periods extremely painful and uncomfortable but back at her parents place she had her mother and sister by her side who took care of her but this time she is at her husband place, alone and she had no damn idea how to manage everything alone. She held her stomach and walked outside, it was already evening and there is no sight of her husband. Well it's not new for her, Raman always returns late from the office and she is thankful of that. She badly wanted to lay down but the thought of spoling bedsheet stopped her.
Raman was mad on me when I accidentally spilled juice on the bed. What if I spoiled bedsheet.
She spread her scarf on the reclining chair and sat on it. "Amma used to massage my tummy so sweetly and also that homemade kaadha. It was pain relieving. I didn't have enough energy to walk downstairs." She couldn't help herself from crying, yesterday only her cousin was going gaga on he fate, how she is living like a queen in the majestic mansion having tons of workers working under her but does she actually wished for the things bestowed upon? Maybe she wished for a loving life partner that too few years later. Ishita twitched her lips thinking about her dreams and clutched her soft toy more tightly hoping these cramps to lessen down. She heard her sister sharing about her periods experience at her in-laws place and how her jiju helped her but wait she can't even do that. Raman is still avoiding her like before especially that awkward kiss encounter. She hasn't met with him properly after that night, he usually returns at late night and disppears before she awake. She has realised Raman mastered in art of avoiding.
She felt throbbing headache and hugged herself more, the thought of the kiss they shared made butterflies erput in her stomach and she curled her toes in the anticipation. The touch of his chappy lips against her plumed one is still fresh in her memories, the goosebumps erupted on her hands followed by the hours of awkwardness. She didn't forgot any of those emotions.
"Akka was asking me that day if I and Raman came close or not. What should I be supposed to tell him that he avoids me like a plague." Ishita mumbled enjoying the golden hue spread around the blue sky, she opened the glass partitions allowing the winds to lullable her.
Otherside Raman Bhalla just wrapped up his last meeting for the day and was reading a few emails on his computer when he saw his best friend entering inside. "Yes."
"Did you receive the dinner invite?"
"Oh yes! I will leave from here only." Raman replied while logging off his computer. He kept the documents back in the drawers and locked it.
"Are you kidding or what? Mr. Dhandhekar especially invited you and bhabhi."
"She came in my life few months back only, I was alone before that." Raman replied whatever came on his mouth.
