A distant grumbling came from Julian and Thomas groaned.
"Oh DAMN YOUR EYES man! Christmas is a good time about- family, happiness, and-"
Pat nodded approvingly "Thats the spirit ma-"
"-And kissing fair Alison under the mistle-"
"ATTENTION MEN. And women- " He added, shrinking at the stern look from Fanny. "I-uh-I have an important announcement to make. Today- Today is my- Today is my-"
"Spit it out man." Scowled Thomas, posing under the mistletoe expectantly. Humphrey grimaced.
"Today is my death day."
Pat gaped. Thomas stared. Kitty clapped- then stopped clapping when she realised. Humphrey blinked. Fanny nodded. Julian paused. Robin cheered-wait what.
"You died on CHRISTMAS?" Questioned Pat.
Cap looked uncomfortable. "It-It was a party. A party."
Kitty gasped. "What kind of party? A birthday? Oh! Maybe it was a-"
Julian sighed. "It was a Christmas party, obviously. The worst kind."
Cap coughed. "Er- no actually. It was a celebration for the heroes in the war. I- never mind."
"No- go on." Prompted Julian. "I'm up for a bit'ta beef."
Cap blinked. "A bit of what-"
Robin looked confused. "Beef? Why not bum? Bum is better than beef."
