The Final Chase

As Retropoint was speeding to the museum, the gang were discussing things.

"So if the ghost is after the artifact, what would he want with it?" Daphne asks

"Chances are it's a man in a costume." Velma comments. "And a note that was found last time we were there says that it would be highly valuable on the black market."

"So the ghost has a non world threatening reason for wanting it." Fred comments

"But, like, who is it under the costume?" Shaggy comments

"No clue, but it's up to us to stop them." Daphne says

"ROh man." Scooby comments

Eventually, the gang arrived to the museum and when they got in the front door, Fred looked to them.

"Okay, gang, here's the plan." Fred says. "We split up to find him, get the artifact away from him, and then we figure out how to trap him. Velma, Daphne, you're with me. e're gonna see what we can find to locate that spectral spook."

Velma and Daphne nodded.

"Shaggy, you and Scooby check the back storage halls for him." Fred says

"Why us???" Shaggy comments

"RNo way!" Scooby protests

"Come on, guys, we're basically at the end of this mystery!" Daphne says

"Yeah." Velma adds

They still shook their heads.

"How about for a whole entire box of Scooby Snacks?" Fred bribes, pulling the box out

The two looked at each other before nodding.

"Here you go." Fred says, handing it to them

The two instantly began chowing down.

"Let's go, Scoob." Shaggy says

They all headed off.

"Like, this place is probably so huge we won't even come into contact with him." Shaggy whispered to Scooby

Scooby quietly snickered.

Later, while they were busy searching around, Scoob and Shaggy eventually found their way into one of the storage rooms.

"Like, I think he's been here Scoob." Shaggy says. "Look at all the cut marks."

There were cut marks all over the walls. Cut marks only able to be made by a sword, Scooby gulping.

"I know, Scoob, it's really scary." Shaggy comments. "But the quicker we find that artifact, the quicker we can get out of this mess."

Scooby began sniffing around. They would eventually find their way to a small metal crate that looked too new to be an old museum storage box.

"Wonder what's in here." Shaggy says

"RMe too." Scooby responds

Shaggy opened the box and in it was...the artifact! And it still had a bit of dirt from the battle back at the scrapyard.

"It's the artifact!" Shaggy exclaimed, closing the box

The two closed the box and Shaggy picked it up. As they left the room, the did a small bit of a high five.

"Let's go find the others." Shaggy comments

They ended up bumping right into...the Qing Dynasty soldier spirit!

"You two have something of mine..." The spirit said, pointing at the crate with his sword

The two tried to scream but couldn't form words.
