When I woke, Draco and Daphne had already gotten up. In fact, most people had as I glanced at the empty sleeping bags all around me. Dumbledore had shaken me awake, and was going around waking the last few students left in the hall. To my surprise, lessons were still going ahead as usual today, and so I went back to my dorm to collect my Dark Arts books, and headed over to Lupin's class. As I entered, I notice Lupin wasn't stood at the front of the classroom, but Snape was.

"Quickly now, Potter. Take a seat," he said as I walked in. I sat myself beside Theo who had saved me a spot. I shot him a quick smile, but I felt slightly guilty as I remembered my conversation with Draco the night before. I turned to see him sat two rows behind us, and he looked back at me blankly as if the memory had been wiped from his brain.

"Turn to page 394," Snape muttered, and I flicked through my pages.

"Excuse me sir, where's professor Lupin?" I heard Harry ask from the front.

"That's not really your concern, isit, Potter? Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time," he replied snarkily, using his wand to turn Harry's book to page 394.

"Werewolves?" Hermione exclaimed beside them. "But, sir, we've only just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks."

"Quiet Granger! Now. Which of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" he asked, Hermione's hand shooting up. He sighed and explained himself. "An Animagus is a wizard who elects to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice in the matter."

Draco let out a howl behind me, and everyone turned to look at him. He smirked at me as Blaise and Goyle laughed beside him.

"Thank you, Malfoy," Snape muttered. "By Monday morning I shall expect two rolls of parchment on the werewolf." Everyone groaned.

"But sir, it's quidditch!" Harry complained.

"Then I suggest you take extra care, Potter, a loss of limb will not excuse you," Snape snapped. I heard Malfoy laugh behind me, usually this would frustrate me but for whatever reason I just smiled and shook my head to myself. Theo noticed this and I just stared back at him blankly.

We spent the lesson beginning our essay on the werewolf in our books, but I couldn't focus and spent most of the time fiddling with my quill daydreaming. Theo got up to go talk to Snape, and I heard Draco whisper my name behind me. I turned to see him blow a piece of paper towards me, which fluttered beautifully right into my grasp. I turned and frowned at him and Blaise confused, before opening it to see he'd drawn a moving lap of Harry getting electrocuted by a lightning storm during tomorrow's quidditch game. There were letters beneath it that spelled out: 'I'm right'. I rolled my eyes and turned to him.

"Now you're pushing your luck," I whispered over to him, smirking.

I had joined Draco, Blaise and Daphne as we headed to the quidditch game. Draco kept complaining how he was dropped from the team and replaced this year because of his arm injury, which was no longer in a sling. We joined the stands and sat in the rain waiting for the match to start. I shuddered slightly in the breeze, and Draco noticed. He checked over his shoulder to see there was barely anyone in the stands as we were early, and threw his jacket around my shoulders. I looked at him, but his eyes went back to the pitch, like nothing had happened. Though he did pull me closer beside him without looking at me. Daphne and Blaise noticed this though, and Daphne gave me a small smile and a quick wink. I shook my head as her smiling.

Eventually, the stands filled up and the game began. It was starting off really slowly, it was only 10-10 to both teams so far and I was sure the wind and rain wasn't helping. Soon it started to thunder and lightning too, which made me think the game should be postponed, but it wasn't. The game went on, and so did the storm. Harry caught sight of the snitch, and he chased it upwards into the storm, I narrowed my eyes trying to spot him but he seemed to have gone above the clouds. My chest clenched with fear as I scanned the sky for him, and soon out of nowhere he began falling, falling from the clouds with his broom falling beside him.
