Sheryna set up a fourth date for Mr. X and Rachel, but this time she decided to tag along to keep an eye on things. She wanted to make sure that everything was going well between them and that Mr. X wasn't hiding anything from her.

They met at a trendy new restaurant in the city, and Sheryna watched as Mr. X and Rachel greeted each other with hugs and smiles. They sat down at the table, and Sheryna took a seat at a nearby table, pretending to be engrossed in her phone.

As they started to talk, Sheryna noticed something strange about Mr. X's behavior. He seemed distracted, glancing at his phone every few minutes and fidgeting with his silverware. Rachel, on the other hand, was engaging and animated, telling Mr. X about a recent trip she had taken to Europe.

Sheryna decided to approach the table, feigning concern. "Is everything okay?" she asked, looking at Mr. X.

He looked up, startled. "Yeah, everything's fine. Why do you ask?"

Sheryna gestured to his phone, which was sitting on the table. "You seem a little distracted. Is everything okay with work?"

Mr. X shook his head. "No, it's nothing like that. I just got a text from a friend, that's all."

Sheryna raised an eyebrow. "A friend? Is everything okay with them?"

Mr. X hesitated. "Yeah, everything's fine. It's just a personal matter."

Rachel looked between the two of them, clearly confused. "Is everything okay?" she asked.

Sheryna smiled reassuringly. "Everything's fine. I was just checking in. You two enjoy your dinner."

As she walked away, Sheryna couldn't shake the feeling that something was off about Mr. X. She decided to keep a closer eye on him for the rest of the night.

As the night went on, Sheryna watched as Mr. X continued to act strangely. He kept checking his phone, and at one point, he even excused himself to go to the bathroom for an extended period of time.

Rachel seemed to be getting frustrated, and Sheryna could tell that the date wasn't going as well as the previous ones. She decided to intervene.

"Hey, Rachel, can I talk to you for a second?" Sheryna asked, approaching the table.

Rachel looked up, surprised. "Yeah, sure. What's up?"

Sheryna lowered her voice. "I don't want to cause any problems, but I've noticed that Mr. X has been acting a little strange tonight. I don't want to jump to any conclusions, but I thought you should know."

Rachel looked concerned. "

"What do you mean, strange?" Rachel asked, leaning in.

Sheryna hesitated, not wanting to cause unnecessary drama. "It's probably nothing, but he's been checking his phone a lot and seems a little distracted. I just wanted to make sure everything was okay."

Rachel nodded, looking worried. "Thanks for letting me know. I'll talk to him about it."

As the night went on, Rachel did confront Mr. X about his behavior, and he admitted that he had been going through a difficult time with a family member's illness. He apologized for being distant and promised to make it up to her.

Sheryna watched as they hugged and made up, feeling relieved that everything had worked out. As they left the restaurant, she couldn't help but feel proud of herself for intervening and making sure that everything was okay.

As they said their goodbyes, Mr. X pulled Sheryna aside. "Thank you for being there tonight," he said, looking grateful. "I don't know what I would have done without you."

Sheryna smiled. "Of course. That's what friends are for."

As she walked away, Sheryna couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had helped bring two people together and had even saved their relationship from potential disaster. It was moments like these that made her job as a storyteller so rewarding.
