CHAPTER 10: LOVE RIVAL?

"Love rival?" I asked, confused. "Technically, cause you're my brother's girlfriend now and she's his ex." He replied. Naguluhan pa din ako.

"Is there something you know that you need to tell me, Alistair?" I asked again. He just smirk. "Well, you need to pay me for what I have to say." He smirk at tinaas baba pa ang kilay nya.

"I don't have money to give you." I replied. He chuckled. "Who says it's money. I want a kiss from you." He said and wink. I just glared at him.

"Tigilan mo nga ko. I don't have time for your jokes, Alistair. This is whole situation is messed up. I need to know what's going on." I said.

"You're so serious. Oh well, I will tell you anyways. That devil woman named Celestine will not let go of my brother that easily. She doesn't seems like it but, she's sick in the head." I looked at him. He doesn't seem like he's lying. He look into my eyes.

"I won't tell you the full details. It's up to you to find out. Well then, adios." He said and left me. Napaisip naman ako. Just what is going on between them? Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako.

"More beverage, ma'am?" Tanong ng server. Kinuha ko naman yung bote at nilaklak ito. Fudge! It's so bitter! Huli na ng makita kong Alfonso ito. Why are they serving alcohol?!

Oh no, my vision starts to blurry. Everything is spinning. Omygod, omygod. I can't believe I'm this weak when it comes to alcohol.

"Ember." I look at the person infront of me. Naduduling ako at hindi ko maaninag ang mukha nya. But, base on his cold and monotonous voice. I know it's him.

"What's happened to you? You're red. Are you drunk?" Tanong nya. Pinilig ko ang ulo. "Nuuu, I'm not dunk." I said. What the hell was that?! I heard him sigh.

"You're drunk. I need to let you go home now." Umiling-iling ako. "You still need me, right? I-I will be useful t-to you." Sabi ko at dinutdot ang dibdib nya.

"No, Ember. I can't let you mess things up." He said. Nairita naman ako. Wala ba syang tiwala sakin?

"Oh, Spencer you're still here---and with your girlfriend. Enjoying the party?" I looked at the person who talked. It's Celestine.

"Very well, we enjoy this party a lot. Right, Spencer?" I replied. Celestine just smiled. "I'm glad. I hope our past won't hinder us to be close friends, Ember." She's so fake. Mahahalata mo agad na napakapeke nya.

"Of course not, I love Spencer very much and nothing will break us apart even with your so called past with him." Gosh! What am I saying? I looked at Spencer. Just as usual his expression is stoic.

"Right, Spencer? We love each other so much." I said and smiled. He just nod. I look at Celestine she's just smiling.

"Are you sure? Because by the looks of it, Spencer doesn't seem to like you." I was shocked by what she said. She sneered.

"And are you really sure you're not just a leech? Sucking Spencer for money?" She mockingly said. I see, revealing your true colors hm?

"Oops! Did I spill the beans? That you're just a little bitch, sucking money from Spencer. What a pathetic lowlife you are." She said.

I look at Spencer he doesn't even bother to defend me. Hello? At least do something for your supposed girlfriend.

Hinawakan ko ang kamay ni Spencer. "Why are you saying that? Are you still not getting over with Spencer? That's sad because I'm his girlfriend now." I said mockingly. I smirk and kiss Spencer on the cheeks.

Celestine just smiled but, I can feel the rage in her eyes. She gesture that she want to hug me and 'beso' me. I hug her and she whisper something. "I know what you are, bitch." She whispers.

Something hot is coming out at the back of my throat. Then suddenly my puke is all over her.

"KYAHHHH!" Namalayan ko na lang na nagsilapitan ang mga serbidor kay Celestine na ngayon ay nababalutan na ng suka ko. I see cameras everywhere. Everything is a blur.

Before they can even take a picture. Spencer covers me. "We have to go now." He said. Hinila nya ko palayo sa mga tao. Nang makalabas ay sumakay na kami sa kotse at nagdrive palayo.

After that, I don't remember anything dahil nakatulog ako sa byahe. Namalayan ko na lang na nasa apartment na ko at may bundle ng isang libo sa tabi ko.

I have a headache after I woke up. Must be a hangover. Uminom na lang ako ng kape at kumain ng pandesal. I pick up my phone and scroll.

All I see is a goddess who has puke all over her. It's all over my news feed. Oh gosh! Who puke at her? How dare they puke on a goddess. So shameless.

Then, a realization hits me. OMYGOD. I'm the one who puke at her! Napasabunot na lang ako sa sarili ko nang maalala ang nangyari kagabi.

What am I thinking!? Why I puke on her! I know she's a bitch but still--- AHHHH! I don't know anymore. I look again at the headline. Thank God, wala yung mukha ko doon.

How can I face Spencer now? Nakakahiya. I messed up. I ruined everything for him. You're so stupid, Ember. So stupid.

I received a text from Spencer. "Let's talk." Bumilis naman ang tibok ng puso ko. Shit! I really messed up. Our contract doesn't even last a day! ARGHH!

"I'm really sorry about last night." I said. I trying to be calm as possible but, I'm panicking inside. Spencer is just looking at me.

"You really did make a ruckus last night. Good thing Celestine didn't snitch on you and none of your photos are taken." His cold demeanor make me tremble on my seat.

"But, I'm not mad on you on what you did on Celestine." I look at him. He's not mad? I saw a smile on his face.

"You're not mad? You're not breaking the contract?" I asked. He chuckled. "Why would I? What you did is hilarious. She's being a bitch to you, right? She deserves it." Para naman akong nabunutan ng tinik. Thank God.

"You're more fun than I thought, Ember. Let's make this contract fun while it last. Shall we?"
