Today was the day of Christmas. And the best is, that it's literally my favorite holiday. I just loved it. Everything about it.

The christmas tree with all the shiny lights, the smell of cinnamon and freshly baked cookies. Coming home and being cuddled up in a comfy blanket, while cuddling with your lover.

When it is snowing outside, and you are sitting inside and reading a good book by candlelight and music playing softly in the background. I loved it.

But what was even better was, that I could spend this Christmas with Billie together. She was on tour last year, so we could only FaceTime each other.

It was at least something, I mean, better than not seeing her at all, but I just wished that she was there. But today it could finally happen.

I woke up to a strong smell of cacao and cinnamon. I smiled to myself. Billie was probably making my favorite type of chocolate right now.

It is made with cacao, cinnamon, sugar and milk. So I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I saw Billie standing at the stove, mixing the ingredients for the chocolate together.

,,You are to good for me Billie" I said as I hugged her from behind. ,,No, my love, don't say that, I love you so much" she said and kissed my nose.

,,By the way merry Christmas my love" Billie said and smiled. ,,Yes, I am so excited" I said jumping around. Billie just chuckled about my childish behavior and shook her head.

,,We are going to the Christmas market later, right?" I asked, giving my girlfriend puppy eyes. ,,Of course, like I promised you darling" she said.

Billie poured the hot chocolate into our cups and then we both sat down at the table as we drank it. ,,Mhm this tastes so good, thank you Billie" I said, drinking the delicious chocolate she made for us.

,,Anything for you my princess" she said and I blushed, quickly taking another sip of my drink, trying to hide my blush.

After nothing was left from our chocolates, we both got ready. It was snowing outside, so we had to wear something warm.

Billie was wearing an oversized blue hoodie with also oversized black pants. She looked so comfortable, I just want to hug her.

And I was wearing a white hoodie, it was the warmest that I had, and some pair of jeans. I know, very basic, but I didn't feel like dressing up much today, even though it is Christmas today.

,,Let's go" Billie said and grabbed her keys to her car. We walked to Billies car dragon and got in. The Christmas market wasn't very far luckily, but still, if we would walk we had to walk for like 30 minutes.

When we were there, I already saw all the colorful lights, and because we had the windows rolled down, I already smelled the smell of cotton candy.

Billie and me got out of her car, dragon, and she took my hand and gave me a kiss on the cheek. ,,Billieee" I whined. As much as I loved her, affection in public wasn't really my thing.

Holding hands was okay, but since someone said something homophobic to us, I was scared that this is going to happen again. Billie didn't care as much as I did, she still kissed me in public, but also respected my boundaries.

She still wanted that someday, we will get there, that I wouldn't feel uncomfortable anymore, and I think that this is very sweet of her. We did little steps everyday.

,,Where do you want to go first my love?" Billie asked me, tracing her thumb over our intertwined hands. She must have noticed that I started to get a bit anxious.
