It was a quiet night in August. Even though it was slowly turning September, it was still pretty warm outside. Billie and me had just finished watching a few movies.

Today was Friday, meaning that I finally had a few free days. I worked pretty hard I would say, but I really don't want to complain. Billie put the blanket a bit more over us.

,,It's so comfy" I said as I snuggled my head into her neck, breathing in her comforting scent. ,,You smell so good" I said, trying to get impossibly closer to her.

,,You can't get anymore closer to me my love" Billie chuckled. ,,I'm trying" I mumbled into her neck. ,,You're such a little baby" Billie laughed.

,,But that's why you love me" I said, looking her into her eyes, which I loved so much. ,,Of course" she smiled and we shared a loving kiss. I loved our Friday nights.

The ones were none of us had any work to do, being comfortably held under a blanket, warming each other. I looked outside of the window. There were so many stars, it was beautiful.

I had a fascination with stars since I was little. When I used to be five, I would always ask my dad if I can look at the stars before I can go to bed.

I had kind of a small bench at my window, so I had easier access. I smiled at the thought, I was really glad that I had such an amazing childhood. Not like my other friends though.

That's why I appreciate my parents so much. They were always very caring for me and made sure that I was happy and glad. Never did my parents ever made me feel worse or guilty about myself.

I wasn't even scared when I came out to them, because I know that they are going to support me, no matter what. ,,Do you want to go stargazing?" Billie asked me, she must have seen me looking out of the window.

,,Sure, let's go" I said excited as I got up from the couch and grabbed our blanket. I wouldn't want two blankets, I want to feel Billies body next to mine.

We went to the rooftop and sat down. ,,Come here darling" Billie smiled as she made some space for me. I sat down next to her under the blanket and leaned my head against her shoulder.

,,It's so beautiful"  I said, and looked up at the sky full of stars. There was a warm breeze this night, which made goosebumps appear on my skin. ,,You want to know what I thought when I first met you?" Billie suddenly asked me.

,,Uhm, yes, sure" I said smiling. ,,Okay so, when I first met you, like only half of you, because there was so much more to know about you, I thought about how beautiful you are. Those shiny eyes, and this beautiful smile you gave me. But my attraction was not only physical for you, no, not at all. It was your soul, you are so humble and kind to everyone. You always take care of me. You love me like no one else ever could. That's why I wrote a song, that's a bit inspired by that" Billie said and pulled out her guitar, which was always here, on the rooftop.

She just played some notes on it, because literally everything she played sounded so beautiful. And then, she started singing.

When Billie put her guitar away, I was literally so amazed. Every song that she made is beautiful, of course, but that one? ,,Oh my god, this was so so amazing" I said and hugged Billie.

,,Thank you my love" she smiled. And for a few minutes, we were just sitting there in silence, hugging each other. In that moment, I really felt like I was in a movie.

Just then, I saw a shooting star. ,,Come on, make a wish!" Billie said excited. As I closed my eyes, I made a wish, and I really hope that this becomes reality.

I wished for a future with Billie, that we are going to be together, forever. Moving to the beach, getting married, maybe even having kids.

That would really make me so happy. ,,What wish did you make?" Billie asked, raising her eyebrow. ,,You're not supposed to say that baby!" I said and laughed.

You know these laughs were you are truly happy? Not that laugh that I had to fake everyday before I was in a relationship with Billie.

,,Oh darling, please" she whined, looking at me with puppy eyes. ,,You know that this is not going to work with me Billie" I chuckled. ,,Okay, fine" Billie said and fake rolled her eyes at me.

I just shook my head, laughing at her. After some more minutes, we went inside again and instantly fell asleep on the couch with Billie.

Wishing for my dream to come true.
