"A soul in pain,
He lives, though hardly speaks.
He waits for her in front of this photo of way back when.
He, he's not a fool.
He believes in it, that is all.
He sees her everywhere.
He waits for her, upright.
A rose in the hand.
Apart from her, he awaits nothing.
Nothing around him has any meaning,
And the air is thick,
The look is absent.
He is alone and talks to her often.
He, he's not a fool.
He loves her, that's all.
He sees her everywhеre.
He waits for her, upright.
Upright, a rosе in the hand.
No, nothing holds him back, no more.

In his love story."

Mrs. Park stood frozen, a statue of silent witness, as she observed the dreadful pain reflected in Minghao's eyes.

The sorrow etched across his face was a knife to her heart, a endless darkness that threatened to consume them both.

"What is it about her that's clouding your judgment, Minghao? This isn't like you. How did you end up falling for her?" Mrs. Park cried, her fear for Minghao's life evident, fully aware of Kim Sunghoon's ruthless nature.

"We don't get to pick who we fall in love with. For me, she was the escape I never knew I needed. She's the happiness I'd forgotten how to experience. I won't let go of her just because you don't approve, mom. It's her and me. That's all I need. The two of us against the world. Who can stop us?" Minghao poured his heart out, sensing his pulse echoing through every fiber of his being, ignited by Nabi's love.

"But Minghao...There's something you need to know," she whispered, causing him to shut his eyes and shake his head.

"No, mom. I don't want to hear it," he replied, his voice trembling with anticipation and dread.

"Please, listen," she cried, reaching out to grab his hands, but he recoiled, denying the touch.

The trust that once bound them shattered, leaving Minghao unwilling to let her in. Deep in his heart, an unsettling comprehension screamed that she had done something terribly wrong.

"No, mom. I won't listen to anything you have to say. I'm done with explanations. From now on, I'll follow my heart," he declared, taking a deliberate step back from her.

"I'm aware you're keeping something from me, and maybe more than one thing. Whatever it is, I hope it was worth it, mom. Your actions have only distanced us. But if something happens to Nabi, I'll demand answers from everyone, and that includes you."

"And now I think it's best if you go home," he said, turning his back to her and leaving her standing alone in the middle of the room, watching as he walked away from her.

She cried silently, watching Minghao engrossed in loading his gun. His eyes, windows to a soul burdened by pain, held more than his words could expressed.

As she observed everyone diligently preparing, a growing worry tugged at Mrs. Park's heart. Unable to contain her apprehension, she felt compelled to speak.

"Please...be careful," she pleaded, her voice trembled with concern. The room fell into a hushed stillness as her words gathered the attention of all present, including Minghao.
