"Don't ask me to stop because I would overturn the earth just to show you how much I love you."

He rose from the bed and swiftly approached the window to see what was happening outside.

Nabi, teetering on the brink of unconsciousness, gazed at him, her senses catching the sound of his sinister chuckle.

"So, he decided to show up and save you, huh?" he laughed, the mockery evident in his tone.

"Let's test the little orphan then," he spoke, loading the gun and shifting his gaze towards Nabi, who lay on the bed with eyes barely open.

"Get up," he spat.

But she couldn't. She couldn't even move. Everything was too painful, too much for her to bear.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance at her apparent lack of effort to get up.

Moving swiftly, he approached her with a scowl, seizing her arm with a force that made her wince.

He yanked her up, but Nabi's weakened state betrayed her, causing her to crumple and fall onto the floor with a thud.

"Get up, you fucking bitch!"

His scream reached her ears but felt distant, almost despairing. She could only whimper, overwhelmed by the burning pain that engulfed her entire body.

Seeing her lack of cooperation, he forcibly lifted her from the floor, his tight grip supporting her limp body.

With determined steps, he moved towards the door, her form carried by him, as she was unable to stand on her own.

Getting down the stairs proved to be an excruciating ordeal for her. Every step felt like a new wave of pain, intensifying the already unbearable pain.

When they reached the main door, his hand released its tight grip on her skin, and she immediately collapsed to her knees.

"Please," she begged, her head hanging down, her voice barely audible.

"Please what, bitch?" he spat, looking down at her with contempt.

"I...I don't want him to see me," she pleaded, her words intermingled with sobs.

He chuckled darkly, his foot stomped on her ankle again, eliciting a scream of pain from her.

"Did you secure the area?" he inquired to one of his men, who promptly nodded.

"Excellent. No escape for these rats. Today, I'll bring an end to them. The worst one. I consider peeling their skin off, but it will take too much time....Oh, how about cracking their head open?"

"Please, stop. They're innocent," Nabi pleaded desperately, yet he increased the pressure of his foot on her vulnerable ankle.

A searing jolt of pain tore through her, forcing a guttural scream from her lips.

"I apologize, darling. But they've opted for this path," he chuckled, a cold edge to his amusement.

As Nabi's voice grew louder, a sudden crash shattered the silence, and the main door splintered and collapsed.

In an instant, every one of Sunghoon's men pivoted, their guns trained on the now-broken entrance.

Wide-eyed, Minghao stood there, with all the members lined up behind him—among them, Keeho and a few of his own men.
