Oikawa's POV-

"Iwa-Chan!!! What do you think we should get Y/N for Christmas?"

Iwa-Chan shrugged his shoulders and didn't look at me. "I don't know, maybe um lotion?"

"*sigh* this is why you're horrible with women"

"Hey!"

We continued our walk home. We lost to Karsouno a few weeks ago. That was our last match of our high school career. It was sad but, Karsouno worked hard for the win.

"Why are you asking me anyways?" Iwa-Chan asked.

"Because, she's done so much for us and I wanna repay her in a nice way. This is probably the last time we'll see her for a long time. So I wanna do something for her"

Iwa-Chan looked over at me, his expression changed from his usual angry one to a more relaxed one.

"Mmmh well what's something you know that she'll love? Or something that she'll remember forever?"

"I don't know... I know she likes anime and manga. But that's not really meaningful..."

Iwa shrugged his shoulders again. "Well I'm just gonna get her something simple. You can always do something like that"

I thought about what Iwa had said and thought about something Y/N would really like. That's when the best idea popped into my head.

I gasped dramatically and turned towards Iwa. "I have the perfect gift!!!!!!"

Y/N's POV-

I was sitting in my classroom texting with Rin, when I heard a bunch of girls start to squeal. I looked up from my phone and saw Oikawa enter the room. He walked over to my desk and stood right in front of me.

"Yahoo~ Y/N-Chan" he said with his usual smirk and wink. I rolled my eyes and looked back down at my phone.

"Hi Oikawa-San"

"You texting umm what's his name again?" He asked looking at the messages between me and Rin.

"Suna Rintaro" I mumbled out as I tried to hide my phone from him.

"Ah right Rin-Chan, anyways how's he been?"

"He's been ok, his team made it to the spring nationals. So he's focusing on that" I said finally looking up at him. I was expecting a resentful look on his face or a discomfortable look but, there wasn't. He had his same smile, nothing changed.

"That's good to hear! Are you going to go see him play?" He asked with a happy tone of voice. It was weird, usually when he talks about Tin he sounds sassy. Not this time, something was clearly up.

"No, not this unfortunately. My parents don't want me going without someone. So since I don't have anyone to go with I can't..."

"Aren't you 17? Do they not trust you or something?"

"They do... they just don't want anything to happen to me... at least that's what they told me" I said as I put my phone down.

"I wanna go see him, but if I snuck out my parents would kill me! And... ugh" I slammed my head down on the desk and muttered, "I'm a bad girlfriend..."

I felt Oikawa pat the top of my head and he said in a gentle voice, "aw Y/N-Chan don't say that! You're trying your best!"

I felt the tears forming in my eyes, thankfully I was able to hold them back. But my voice started to crack as I talked. Like that ugly talk you do when you're trying not to cry.

"Y-yeah but I keep m-m-making excuses! And I f-f-feel like he's g-g-go-gonna break up with me" I choked out.

"Y/N.."

My head immediately shot up, Oikawa has never just said my name before. He's always added the Chan at the end of it.

"I was gonna do something else for your Christmas present but... it's clear what you want" He continued. Oikawa then stuck out his hand towards me and said in a dramatic voice, "L/N Y/N would you like to go watch the spring nationals with me, to go see your boyfriend?"

I was shocked and happy all at the same time. I felt my eyes start to water even more. I slowly nodded my head, to answer Oikawa's question. I then got out of my seat and hugged him.

It was clear he was shocked but he hugged back. "Th-thank you, Oikawa-San"

"Heh of course, Y/N-Chan"

I pulled away from the hug and wiped away my tears. Oikawa lightly chuckled and then he asked, "do you know when he plays? Or do you wanna stay for the whole tournament?"

"He told me that they got a bye for the first round. Since they're one of the top schools. So they won't play till day two... I'd say we go for the whole tournament. You know so we can still see other teams play and so he'll still be surprised"

"Sounds like a plan. I'll pay for our tickets to get in. Since this is your Christmas present but, can you maybe buy the train tickets?" Oikawa asked while giving me a thumbs up.

"Yeah, no problem" i soft smiled at Oikawa as he walked out of the room.

"I'll text you later, see ya Y/N-Chan~!" Oikawa said as he walked out while waving at me. As soon as he left I started to jump up and down from excitement. I was going to get to see Rin! I took out my phone and texted my parents and told them what was going on. They were both ok with it.

"Best Christmas gift ever..."
