Chapter 10-Day 1 of Spring Nationals

Y/N's POV-

I was in the train station waiting for Oikawa to show up. Our train to Tokyo was going to be here in 20 minutes. I was starting to get worried because he had our tickets. I wasn't even on the platform for the trains.

I pulled out my phone and texted him to see where he was.

I AM HERE!

I turned around and saw Oikawa standing with both his hands on his hips, posing like All Might from MHA.

"Ewww My Hero" I said slightly sarcastic. Oikawa's face slightly dropped. He rolled his eyes and walked over to me.

"Haha very funny Y/N-Chan. Let's go"

I nodded my head and followed Oikawa onto the platform. We waited there for about 10 minutes, then the train showed up and we got on.

We sat next to each other and our 4 hour train ride began.

•Time Skip•

I was awake to whole train ride, while Oikawa was asleep. Once the train pulled into the stop I shook Oikawa awake.

"Oi, wake up. We're here"

Oikawa slowly woke up and then we got off the train. As we walked out of the station Oikawa turned towards me and asked, "so are we gonna do that everyday of the tournament?"

"No, I have family that live over here. So we're gonna stay with them. That's why I told you to pack clothes"

"Oh makes sense..."

We continue our way down the side walk, till we got to the bus stop. We waited there for about 10 minutes before we got on the bus. We sat down next to each other and the bus started to drive to the stadium.

"So what match do you wanna see first?" I asked Oikawa, he was on his phone looking at the bracket.

"Hmmm maybe Karsouno, no I don't wanna see Tobio or the shrimp. Hmm Nekoma is a good team I heard, same thing with Fukurodani, they have one of the top five aces"

"Really? That's cool, there's a lot of top aces at Nationals right?"

"Yeah, I think Rin-Chan's team has a top ace. Aran Ojiro, yeah he's number 2 I think or 3"

"Oh, Aran is a top ace? Rin has told me a lot about him"

"Hmmm I say we go check out the Fukurodani match first, then maybe if we have time we watch Karsouno" Oikawa said as he put his phone back in his pocket.

"Thanks again Oikawa, this means a lot to me"

Oikawa seemed kind of shocked when I said that. But his shocked expression turned into a happy one really quick.

"Of course Y/N-Chan! I'm your upper class men after all!" He said dramatically. We both laughed a bit and a few minutes later we arrived at the stadium.

It was really big and I mean really big, though it makes sense. We walked into the building and the opening ceremony started.

I immediately spotted Rin in his line for Inarizak, I was able to spot everyone from the team that Rin told me about.

I also saw Karsouno, they all seemed super happy. I could tell Oikawa was somewhat jealous but, we both knew that they worked hard to get to nationals. Even though we worked hard as well, there wasn't much that we could do.

"So Rin-Chan doesn't have a match today?" Oikawa asked whispering into my ear.

"Yeah, they play the winner of the Karsouno match. I just worried about Karsouno because they can easily beat the team they're going up against. But they'll probably get crushed by Inarizaki"

"Maybe, yet again they beat Ushiwaka. So that match can technically go either way"

I nodded my head in agreement and we focused back on the ceremony.

Suna's POV-

We had just finished with the opening ceremony, it was boring and it was annoying since we didn't have to play today. It's whatever though.

I was kind of sad that Y/N couldn't show up again. I understood why it's just still sucks.

Once we were done the team walked off the court. Some teams stayed or walked to a different area since they had games. We got lucky with the bye for the first round.

"Suna!" Ginjima called out to me. He walked up to me with the Twins following behind him.

"We're all gonna go watch some of the matches and maybe do some shopping. Wanna come with us?"

"Didn't the coaches say we had to leave soon?" I asked with scratching the back of my head.

"Yeah... but we leave in 20 minutes! We have time!"

"Nahh I'm good, sorry" I said as I started to walk away. Before I walked away to far I heard Atsumu do a dramatic gasp.

"OMG IS THAT Y/N BY THE SHIRT STAND??!?!??" Atsumu yelled. I whipped my head around and looked right at Atsumu.

"You being serious?"

"Y-yeah! Now come with us and maybe you'll be able to see her"

I was hella suspicious of Atsumu, I knew he was probably lying but I had nothing to lose. And if he was lying I had an excuse to punch him. If he wasn't then I get to my girlfriend!

I sighed and follow the three to some of shirt stands. We walked around the shopping area for about 15 minutes before we had to head back to the bus.

I felt Atsumu put his arm around my shoulder and he said, "sorry man, I could've sworn I saw Y/N there. But we had fun lookin' around and stuff. No hard feelin's right?"

I let out a low chuckle and I turned my head towards him. I had a small smile on my face and Atsumu teamed up a bit.

"Pull a stunted like that again and I'll make sure you won't be able to play volleyball for 3 months straight" I said as I punched him in his side. Atsumu yelped out in pain and took his arm off of me. I quickly pulled out my phone and took a photo of him in pain.

"Heh, I guess you were right Atsumu. I guess it was fun"
