Chapter 14- Surprises

Suna's POV-

It's been a full year since I last saw Y/N, she wasn't able to show up to any of my games but that was because she was focusing on school and being a manger for Aoba Joshia.

Everything made sense, but every time I had a game I would always look in the crowd hoping she was there. Unfortunately she wasn't at all but I would pretend that she was and that always helped me get through a game when we weren't doing well.

We still texted, called, FaceTimed, and played video games with each other. It still wasn't the same. But it was good enough until we both graduated.

It was helpful that we were both third years this year and we both knew what we wanted to do after graduation. Y/N was planning on going to college and then getting a job after that. I was planning on going pro with volleyball.

We both knew what we wanted and we both wanted to help each other with each other's goal.

It has been 2 days since we had graduated, so instead of Y/N surprising me I decided to surprise her. I was on the train to Miyagi and it was about to pull into the station.

I had already told Y/N's parents about me showing up they were ok with me showing up.
The train pulled into the Miyagi station, I got off and I started to walk towards Y/N's place.

'I should probably get her a gift... or maybe bring flowers? Ugh I'm not good at this romance stuff..' I thought to myself as I walked down the street. I decided to stop at the store and got some of Y/N's favorite snacks and some flowers for her mom.

Did I text my mom to ask if I should do that? You'll never know.

I was at Y/N's front door now. I was scared to knock on the door, though I knew she would be excited to see me (hopefully).

I quickly knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer it.

'Ugh I should've asked if they were home.. no no no don't think like that Rintaro. How's Y/N even gonna react? Did I close my bedroom door before I left?'

The front door then opened snapping me out of my thoughts. The door opened and it was Y/N who opened it.

When she saw me her eyes widened. "Rin?!?!"

I let out a light chuckle and nodded my head, "heh hey Y/N"

She smiled at me and jumped into my arms and hugged me. I dropped the bag full of stuff I bought and hugged Y/N back.

We stayed like that for a few minutes. Everything felt so good in that moment, I felt so happy to finally see her again. And I knew we weren't going to be apart from each other for a while.

Y/N pulled away from the hug and she cupped both of my cheeks. With thumb she gently caressed my cheek in a loving way. Y/N had a big smile on her face and she was looking at me with a lot of joy and happiness. 

I smiled at Y/N and I wrapped my arms around her waist. I pulled her closer to me and I started to lightly kiss her all over her face.

"He-hey! That tickles!" She said as she started to laugh.

"And? I've missed you! Let me kiss you!" I laughed out as I continued to lightly kiss her face all over.

I then stopped and pulled Y/N for an actual kiss. She let out a light gasp but then she immediately kissed me back. Kiss wasn't intense, it wasn't super sexual, it was a soft sweet kiss.

After a minute we pulled away from the kiss. I was about to say something when Y/N's mom called out to us, "Hey love birds, no PDA please"

We both started to blush and we pulled away from the hug. I picked up the bag and we walked into the house. I handed Y/N's mom the flowers, she seemed happy about the flowers so I'm glad i bought them.

After I said hi to her parents, me and Y/N went up to her room. I laid down on her bed and she laid down next to me.

"Heh I wish you would've told me you were coming" she said with a light chuckle.

"Then it wouldn't be a surprise, dummy" I said with a light chuckle. Y/N cuddled up to me, I wrapped my arms around her.

"When's the last time we did this?" She asked.

"Hmm about maybe 3 to 4 years ago"

"Wow" she said laughing a bit, as she cuddled up to me closer.

"Well from now on, we'll be able to do this a lot more. I promise"

"Heh I can't wait~"

We stayed like that till Y/N's called us downstairs. Everything was perfect and I wouldn't have things any other way. I was just happy that I was no longer thousands miles away from Y/N.

We were no longer, long distance. And we weren't going to be anymore.
