first it started with a friend,
this is all where it seemed to begin,
as soon as you placed it to your lips,
watch how you can shorten your life in a few hits,
yet it stirred up something inside of you,
something that everyone desperately hoped not to come true,
first it was just candy,
things that looked pretty handy,
when you drew in that first breath,
you already signed over your rights to death,
though it started with something dumb,
it is going to end you blue-lipped and numb.
