"You texted my mom, right?" Braydin and Titus walked side by side, trotting down the road as rain poured down on them. Titus was looking ahead and Braydin was looking at him, the two of them in conversation.
"No, my dad did. I don't know how she'll feel about you sleeping over here on a school night, though."
"Damn." Braydin hissed.
"Yo, don't you want to head home to go grab clothes?" Titus queried.
"No." Braydin spluttered out without thinking. "Wait- well, okay. Not really."
Titus raised an eyebrow. "Dude, my stuff is giant on you."
"It's comfortable. Also," Braydin quickly responded, then steering closer to Titus and linking their arms, "stop getting so far away."
"Okay, whatever dude." Titus rolled his eyes in mock annoyance and the two continued their walk to the park.
The walk turned into a speed walk, which turned into a sprint, which turned into Titus running and holding onto Braydin so that he wouldn't fall over, which turned into Titus picking up Braydin and spinning him until the two fell over in the grass.
"Fuck- oh my god, we're soaked." The brunette groaned, despite the smile slightly visible on his face. The two of them were sitting aside each other, still on the ground.
"Erm, language. Also, we've been soaked. It's pouring." The other retorted which caused Braydin to scoff, turn over, and push him back over onto the grass.
Braydin turned to hold him down but got distracted, freezing to admire the sight before his eyes. Titus, in a soaked, semi-transparent, white t-shirt, with disheveled hair, covered in rainwater, laying on his back, panting. Titus saw his distraction as an opening to strike back.
"You-!" Braydin shrieked, being pushed down into the grass. Titus held him down and started shaking him and Braydin just giggled and squeezed his eyes shut, trying to fight him off. They ended up rolling onto concrete.
