It's been a long and harsh couple of weeks. So much has happened, like the last full week of first semester, the Brooklynn incident, Wiley throwing himself out a window, Brian catching the boys making out during The Lorax movie night, et cetera. Braydin could finally feel himself settle down.
Brooklynn had stopped, pretty much. Sure, he did still receive unsettling, flirtatious looks, and could always feel the girl's eyes raking up and down his body everywhere he went, but it's better than the touchy-feely stuff. He only liked that from Titus.
Fitness testing is over. They're just playing games, and they will be until second semester starts. Titus and Braydin had quite the aggressive 5v5 game of basketball for their activities, and they had to take a couple cooldown laps five minutes prior to entering the locker rooms.
"You're not hurt, right?" Braydin queried, referring to what caused them to take the breather laps in the first place.

Titus dribbled the ball across the court. He paused, scanning the room for his teammates. Huffing, he faked a pass before tossing it to Dezzy and skittering across the court.
The blonde felt almost glad that he was playing basketball. He never really found any interest in regular jogging like Kallie and Rowan, badminton like Kimball, Carter, and Kaiden, or just plain old shooting like Brooklynn and Nazareth. He liked being in the game, and of course, getting full points for the day, too.
Dragging himself out of the long meandering train of thought in his head, he snapped back to reality hearing a brief shout of his name from Mason. Soon enough, he turned to the same basketball flying toward him.
He dribbled the ball down to the hoop, leaping to perform a lay up until—
CRASH! Titus felt himself topple to the ground, straight onto his back. All of the air got knocked right out of him. The boy felt his mouth run dry, oxygen being sucked into him like he just suffered near suffocation. He tried to sit up, and locked eyes with none other than his Braydin.
"Oops, shit. Sorry," he spluttered out giggling. Titus looked at him, settling an arm on his shoulder before the two helped each other up.
"Both of you, go take a breather. We're about to head in anyway." Fischlin sighed.

"No," Titus reassured, "I'm alright, sweetheart."
Braydin sighed, eyes slowly dragging across
the floorboards. He turned his head as Titus briefly mentioned, "I'm going to grab some water."
"Okay." The brunette replied, slightly flushing as Titus leaned in and pressed a light kiss to his forehead before he jogged off to the water fountain.
Braydin couldn't help but admire him. He felt his vision blurring, focusing dead center on Titus. Suddenly, he felt a hand wrap around his body.
A chill ran through his spine. He felt warm breath against his ear, shuddering harshly at every syllable spoken to him. "Hey, Reppy..."
"Go away." He seethed, clenching his jaw. Braydin's face went paler and paler upon every prod and poke of Brooklynn's fake nails upon his upper arm.
She snickered, pressing a soft kiss to the base of his neck. "Don't act like that."
Braydin froze, his breathing growing rapid. Refusing to move, he clenched his fists as his vision grew to but a couple blurred colors in front of him.

"Braydin, hey." Titus ran a hand up Braydin's thigh. He ran his thumb back and forth, staring deeply into his forest green eyes.
The smaller let out a shaky gasp, feeling his shirt get pulled off of his head and then his partner's hoodie onto him. He suddenly snapped out of it. "I- what- Titus, your hoodie, what?"
Titus's face reddened in anger as he held his breath. "Just... take it."
"Okay." Braydin smiled ever-so-slightly while Titus cleaned everything up. The bell rang, the locker room emptying out quite fast. Braydin turned to Titus, stopping him and cupping his face.
"Are you okay, baby?" He questioned empathetically. The taller bit his lip before smiling and confirming.
"Yeah. Thank you for... being worried about me, Braydin."
"You're welcome, dear." Braydin chuckled before leaning in and kissing Titus passionately. "Now, let's go."

"What do you mean, 'what's wrong with me'?!"
Brooklynn and Titus were standing in front of Brian's classroom having a small dispute that didn't look like it was going to stay small for much longer.
"I mean, what the fuck is wrong with you?!" Titus growled. "Do you not even see what you're doing? Do you act this way because you get a kick out of it or something??"
Brooklynn scoffed, "It's not that big of a deal. We like each other! We're like, in love! Isn't it obvious?"
"Well," Titus clenched his fists, "my boyfriend doesn't seem very 'in-love' with you, bitch."
Brooklynn stepped closer to him, venom dripping from her words. "What did you just call me?"
Fortunately, Titus could match that. "I called you a wack-ass fucking bitch who can't take a single hint. Use your screw-sized brain."
"Do you want to fight?!" Brooklynn shrilled.
"Do I?" Titus raised his voice.
"I'll fight you, believe me! I'll fucking—"
    THWACK!
