"What's going on here?"
"You're awake!"
"Who are you?"
"It's hard to explain."
Wolfrun creature teleports to the top of a building, a girl about our age in one of his hands. After an exchange, the girl is surrounded by a purple light.
When the purple light disappears, another one of us appears.
"With overflowing feelings, they run free. Cure Emotion!"
Sitting up in bed, Miyuki holds her head as she stares off into the distance.
"What was that?" she questions.
With a school bag packed, a teenager grabs it and rushes out the door.
"I'm off!"
"Have a good day!"
"You too!"
Today was going to be an interesting one. At least, I hoped it would be. When I arrive at the High School I am going to be attending, I am given a tour of the school by a member of the student council and the school seems pretty nice. After the tour, I am introduced to my homeroom teacher and she seems alright.
As the school day begins, I wait outside the classroom as the teacher instructs until she calls me in.
"You can come in now." the Teacher invites.
"O-Okay."
Standing in front of the classroom full of other students feels weird, however, I feel as though something majorly exciting is going to happen.
"Hello, my name is Murosakimiya Cho." I manage to say. "I enjoy doing creative things and I care deeply about my friends and family. I hope we can get along."
"Thank you for your introduction, Murosakimiya." The teacher smiles. "You can take a seat next to Hoshizora. Please put your hand up Hoshizora, so our new friend can find her seat."
"Here I am!" a voice exclaims, their hand shooting up.
"Thank you for that, Hoshizora." the Teacher nods. "Now, let's get on with today's first lesson."
As the bell rings to signify the end of the school day, I pack my bags and ready myself to leave when Hoshizora stands in front of me. I find this weird as all I wanted was to head home.
"Uh, hi. What do you want?"
"Hi, my name is Hoshizora Miyuki." the girl introduces herself. "Would you like to be friends?"
"...Sure. Where are we going?"
"To meet my other friends." Miyuki grins. "I'm sure they will love you."
"If you say so-woah!"
Making our way through the halls of the school and out the exit, Miyuki brings us to a stop at the gates where her friends are waiting.
"What took you so long, Miyuki?" a girl with orange hair asks. "Who is this?"
"This is Murosakimiya Cho." Miyuki explains. "She just started here, and I want us to be friends with her. Is that okay?"
"Sure it is." says the girl with orange hair. "It's nice to meet you, Murosakimiya. My name is Hino Akane."
"It's nice to meet you, as well. Who is everyone else?"
"This is Kise Yayoi, Midorikawa Nao, and Aoki Reika." Akane introduces everyone.
"Hi/Hello/Nice to meet you." everyone greets me.
"Would you like to hang out with us?" Akane asks.
"Right now?"
"Of course." Akane grins. "Just let your parents know what you're doing and everything will be okay."
"Okay."
'What to do? What to do?'
"Hello, dear."
Screaming, I turn around but find nothing.
"Who's there?"
"Can't say. What is your name?"
"I-It's Cho."
"What a lovely name, for a lovely face."
"Gah!"
The rest of the week goes by like that. I have a dream about someone chasing me and wake up before it can go further. My new friends and the teachers find out I am coming to school tired. Teachers send me to the nurse's office so I can get some sleep, while my friends ask if everything is okay, and if there is something they could do to help.
"I wish you could, but it's just some bad dreams. They will go away eventually."
"Are you sure?" Reika inquires.
"I'm sure."
While on our way home from school, I suddenly find myself on my knees. I start feeling horrible thoughts cloud my mind. After what seems like hours, I start feeling and thinking better as I stand up and dust myself off.
'What was that about?'
When Cho splits off from the group, the Smile Team shares a look.
"Did anyone else see her hands move?" Akane asks.
"Yep/Mhm." everyone agrees.
"What do we do about it?" Nao inquires.
"Just to be safe, we will keep an eye on her and wait to see what happens," Reika concludes. "Does everyone agree?"
"Mhm/Yep." everyone nods.
"Great." Reika smiles. "See you tomorrow, everyone."
"See you tomorrow!"
