Chapter 20

You went out by your window because it was late at the momment and you knew your parents weren't going to let you out

You start searching through your neighbourhood
But after an hour you couldn't find him or anything that look like he was there

You pulled your phone out of your pocket and tried to call Toby

Slowly you sat down on the sidewalk close to the road keeping the phone to your ear

Of course he didn't answer

You put your phone back in your pocket and sighed
"Where the fuck are you?" You whispered to yourself

Then you remembered there's a forest nerby
Maybe he's in there

You got up and ran to the forest
Once you were infront of it you stare at the dark woods for a bit

For some reason you felt a bit scared
Like there was something dangerous in it

But whatever

You slowly but surely start walking again and let yourself get more and more into the forest not noticing that someone or something heard you and was ready to chase you

"Toby?! Are you there?!" You yelled through the forest

You couldn't help but feel watched
Unisily you swallowed your saliva as you continue to walk around the forest hoping Toby was there

It was starting to get really cold and your phone was now out of battery
It was probably 2 AM right now

You heard a small crack made by someone stepping on a stick making you stop in your track

Slowly you turned around making eye contact with a humanoid figure on all foor with no hair no clothes or any genital part staring at you menacingly

'What the fuck is that'

You didn't dare to move and just stare at it not knowing what to do

No one knew you were here

'I'm going to die and my body will never be found'
You thought

The humanoïd thing start taking a step closer to you making an alarm ring in your head
You felt the adrenaline go through your body and without even noticing you moved you were running to the opposite direction

This bitch won't stop follow you
It's been 10minutes since you start running
Your lungs were burning and you felt like you could collapse any time
You felt really dizzy
Then you fell down like a piece of shit because you tripped on a rock

The thing that was following you got on top of you and scratched your chest
"AH FUCK!" You yell in pain feeling your own blood drip down your chest

You punch its face and kicked him off of you before getting up again to run away

Then you noticed a small wooden house
It seemed abandoned

You hurried to the door and opened it without thinking
Thanking whatever god was there that the door wasn't locked

Quickly you locked the door
The key was in the keyhold on the inside weirdly
But a the momment you didn't care
You felled down on your knees and start trying to cath your breath

You could hear it scratch the door trying to get in
'What the fuck is that?' You wonder feeling like crying

You look down at yourself
The wound it did to you was deep but not mortal
You sigh in relief and decide to look around for tissues

Or a new shirt since this one had a hole in it now
No thanks to this stupid monster outside

But before you could even get up something came up behind you and wrapped an arm around your throat choking you

'Fuck' you thought

"W-Who are y-You an-and wh-Why are y-y YOU t-There?!"

Wait
Is that him?

"Toby?"

You asked

Toby let go of you and turn you around so you made eye contact "Y/n?! W-What are y-you doing h-here?!" He asked surprised

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" You asked back pushing him away angry
"You left without telling anyone or giving any news I was worried sick you asshole!" You yelled at him feeling tears in the corner of your eyes

You were so overwhelmed by everything that had happend your feelings were getting too much for you right now

"I looked for you everywere then there was this weird monster that look like a naked bald human chasing me! Just to find you hide in this weird ass house!" You said angryly

Toby step closer to you "A-are you hurt?" He asked worried his hand slowly reaching for your chest

"A bit" you answered
"Let m-me take c-care of i-it while I explain e-everything to you" he proposed

He lead you to a bathroom and sat you down to the side of a bathtub

You took your shirt off and he took a white clean tissus
He place it under the water before placing it against your wound making you groan in pain

"It hurt Toby" you said gripping his wrist to move him away

He cleaned the ecess of blood that was everywhere on your chest and rinse the tissus
Before placing it back on the wound adding a bit of pressure to make sure you dont bleed much and that the water clean the wound

You bite your lower lips trying not to complain to much about about the pain

"The thing t-that that- chased you was the r-rake" he said making you confused "What is it?" You asked

He explain to you what it was while putting bandaged on your chest
"And why are you there?" You asked again

"T-the thing that t-took me,after setting ever-everything on f-fire in m-my neighbourh-hood tried to found m-me a-again so I-I left for a b-bit to make sure it d-doesn't found me,o-or take you to m-make me c-come back to him" he explained

You frowned confused

"So someone is trying to take you?" You asked he nod
"B-but don't worry he w-will probably leave s-soon now"

Suddenly you wrapp your arms around him pulling Toby into a hug "I missed you" you said against his neck

Toby wrapped his arms around you back "I missed you too"

This momment is when Toby noticed how in love you were with him
And even if you seemed to try to stay away from him
You would always go in his arms if he opened them

No one with a sane mind and without liking the person wouldn't have search for him

After that he gave you water to drink and told you to go to sleep because the rake wouldn't leave any time soon

He watched over you through the night while you were asleep to make sure you were alright
