After two days
It was wednesday morning
You were in english class speaking with Evan not really caring about what was going on
There was a knock on the door but you ignor it thinking it was just someone late
"Everyone may I get your attention please?" The teacher called out
You and Evan looked up at the teacher
Then your eyes moved to the boy next to the teacher
"Is it Toby?" You whispered
Evan looked at you confused
Toby was wearing a brown hoodie with black pants and green converse and a black chirurgical mask
Soon you and him made eye contact and you waved discretly at him
"This is Tobias Rogers he's new,he got tourette but that doesn't make him any different from anyone else so treat him nicely" the teacher present him
"You can sit anywhere you want" the teacher told him while patting his back
Toby sat down on the chair next to yours
"Hi,didn't know you would come to this school" you said smiling at him
"Are you new in town or something?"
You asked him
"Y-yes I was h-hoping I cou-could hang out with you" he tells you
"Of course you can!" You said happily
Even stepped in the conversation "so are you gonna do the presentation?" He asked staring at Toby then at you
"Oh right he's the dude I talked to you about on the phone remember?" You said excited "Oh the 'cute guy'?" He asked
He did it on purpose to embarassed me
"I- hum yes?" You looked at Toby to see his reaction but he just had one eyebrow up
At lunch Toby didn't eat
He said he wasn't hungry
He was really nice to you and Evan
"By the way Toby,if you need help in class or anything just tell me,I'll help you okay?" You said patting his shoulder gently
After a bit Amanda joined you three at the table
Who is Amanda?
"Hey babe! I missed you" she said with a huge smile wrapping her arms around Evan's neck hugging him from behind
" 'sup love" Evan answered smiling
"Hey Amanda how are you today?" You asked her "I'm good and you Y/n?" She replied "I'm good too"
"And who is this newby?" She asked pointing at Toby
You were glad she didn't question his tics
"It's our new friends Toby" you said wrapping an arm around his neck pulling him closer to you
"Right Tob?" You asked him
Toby was surprised by how you called him
Also by how you pulled him close to you
He's not used to be touched
"Ye-Yeah I'm their fr-friends" you side hugged him and pulled away letting him go starting a conversation with Amanda,Evan and you
There still a bit of time before you had to go back to class
Toby looked at you with intensity
But you failed to notice it
Evan did notice it tho
But didn't said anything
You noticed Toby was staying a bit back but you didn't said much about it
It's his first day he must be anxious and he also seem a bit of an introvert
"Toby wanna hang out with us after school? We study at a cafe near here" you proposed
Toby seemed to think for a bit "I-I don't know.." he answered
"Come on don't let me be the third wheel~" you cried while grabbing his hoodie
"Plus we'll get to know each others better"
He place his hand on your wrist making you let go of his hoodie "okay"
Okay
You smile "YEAAH THANKS"
Toby smiled back unconsciously
You noticed by his eyes he was smiling making you happy
You never really saw him smile
"Hey Toby you never take off that mask,you know you don't have to feel shy about showing your face"
He stare at you for a bit "I-I don't w-want to t-take it off" he said simply without further explaination "Okay..?" You didn't ask further scared to make him uncomfortable
The bell rang signaling you all had to go back to class
Toby POV :
Y/n is touchy and curious he's not scared to touch me and ask me question people tend not to ask
He seem like a happy guy
I wonder what type of person he really is
Behind that mask
Is he really what he show?
I want to kow each of his facets the goods and the bads why is he making feel this way
Oh my god he s driving me crazy and I just met him
What's wrong with me
Maybe I should get ride off of him
What if he start manipulating me?
He's a nuisance
I'll just wait and observe what happend
And think about all of this
Maybe he could also be good? He still saved me
Not anyone would save a stranger in the street
And I heard him say he was scared
Fuck It's so confusing
