It was finally the day of prom

You were ready waiting for Toby to come
He said he'll come to your house your dad was going to drive you two there

You were sat waiting impatiently

Then a knock was on the door
You jumped out of the chair and ran to the door opening it
Toby stood infront of you in his suit with his mask on his face and a bouqet of flowers

He handed the flowers to you "Hey h-handsome" he said smiling "Hi!" You said you grab the flowers with "Thank you Toby"

"Boys! Come here for a picture!" Your mom yelles from the living room
You send Toby an apologitic look before grabbing his hand pulling him inside the house

Your mom took pictures of the two of you before taking your flowers to out thel in a vase for when you come back

Once your dad drove you to high school and you got in it was like a living dream
Color Lights everywhere
A band playing music

Teen dancing having fun and drinking fruit juice

You smile

Amanda walked to you too as soon as she saw you both

"Hi guys! You look so handsomes!" She said with a smile
"Hey! Thanks you look really beautiful too!" You answered happily
"Evan said he'd great you later" she told you and you nod
"I'll go back to him now,see you guys!" She said before going back to Evan that was sat further drinking

"Wanna get a drink first?" You asked Toby
He nod and you both walked to the drinking booth

After sharing a few drinks together taking pictures and jumping along the music

A romantic song came up

You and Toby made eye contact "Would you give me the pleasure to have this dance with me?" You asked him moving your hand infront of you waiting for him to take it
"I will" he answered taking your hand

His other hand went to your waist while you put yours on his shoulder both of you getting closer to each others without really caring of what the others might think

Both of you were slowly moving to the rythme of the song heart beating so fast and butterfly invading your stomachs

"Toby" you whispered to his ear
"I hope you know just how important you are to me, there's no one I would rather spend a day with,you bring me so much hapiness and comfort,you're a good person and I hope you realise it" you whispered to him softly pulling him closer to you before kissing his cheek on top of his mask

Toby felt like crying
But he hold it in stopping the movement he had while dancing with you making you confused before pulling you in a tight hug "T-Thank you so much Y/n"

You smile "Don't thank me"
With a pat in his hair Toby notice your hands on his chest pushing him slightly away "Let's continue this dance" you said pecking his covered lips

He nod and you two started dancing again

It was really cliché but so romantic and both of you enjoyed it really much
It was like being in a movie

You two kept eye contact gazing with the most tender and loving look ever

Maybe after all this pain he went through Toby finally found a place he was safe and loved
A home

You were his home his safeplace the person he loved the most

All that just because that day you decide to saved him from a random dude with a knife

Maybe it was destiny?

Maybe you were soulmates

Everything was going so slow at the momment
It felt it was just the two of you in the room

Lost in the eyes of the other

"They're more cheesy than us" Amanda said looking at you and Toby
Evan hum taking a picture to laugh at you later

He couldn't stand seeing Toby
But when he noticed how happy you seemed with him

He felt less deranged by his presence

Amanda was smiling "I'm happy they found each others"

"Yeah"

"I love you Y/n"

"I love you more Toby"
