Immediately getting out of bed, Sanzu quickly moved towards the ringing phone situated on the nearby desk. With his disheveled hair falling over his face due to sleep, he swiftly picked up the phone, showing no concern for his untidy appearance. His focus was captivated as he detected a slight quiver in the voice speaking from the other end of the line, instantly capturing his full attention.

He inquired with raised eyebrows, his curiosity evident, as he patiently awaited Maria's response.

The quivering of her voice intensified as fear and uncertainty gripped her, causing her to pause for a moment before uttering a word. "Excuse me, Sir, but there is something alarming about Ella... something that I don't even know where to start." Maria's voice faded away as her mind struggled to find the right words to explain the situation.

"Sir, I found Ella's dead in her room and her body was separated from her head."

Sanzu was taken aback by the news, his eyes widening in a state of pure disbelief. Such an occurrence had never before transpired within the confines of the Akashi household, leaving him utterly astounded. Struggling to comprehend the gravity of the situation, he found himself unable to accept or believe what he was being told. With a perplexed expression etched on his face, he questioned the fate of the recently hired maid, desperately trying to make sense of the unfathomable circumstances unfolding before him.

Maria trembled as she recounted the tragic events to the man on the phone. She shared with him her original intention of spending a pleasant evening watching a movie with Ella. However, her plans took a heart-wrenching twist as she made her way to her room, only to discover a horrifying scene. The lifeless body of the new maid laid motionless in the room, its tranquility disrupted by the ghastly sight of her head brutally sliced. In conveying her distressing part, Maria's voice quivered with a mixture of grief and shock.

Sanzu's eyes widened in astonishment and disbelief as he processed the intricate details imparted to him. The revelation seemed too surreal to be authentic, yet acknowledging Maria's unwavering dedication as an employee left a sliver of uncertainty whether she was fabricating the information or not. Contemplating the enormity of the situation, a hushed murmured escaped his lips, enveloped in bewilderment, as he pondered the baffling occurrence that had just been disclosed.

"I will contact you at a later time, Maria, and ensure that the security measures in our residence are tripled. I will personally reach out to my assistant to address this matter," Sanzu reassured the woman before concluding the conversation. The weight of the news regarding the demise of the recently hired maid left him feeling unsettled and anxious, imposing a sense of urgency on the tasks that awaited him.

Just as he was prepared to leave from his room, Y/n's melodic voice resounded, beckoning his attention. With a gentle tone filled with serenity, she asked, "Where are you going, Haruchiyo?"

Bending down towards her, Sanzu responded, expressing his intent to visit Takeomi and thoroughly inspect all the necessary arrangements that must be made prior to embarking on their outing to Boracay later. After stating this, he tenderly placed a gentle kiss on her forehead before she acknowledged his words with a nod of understanding, settling back into a peaceful slumber.

Sanzu confidently stepped out of the room he shared with Y/n, feeling confused about what happened on his brother's house in Japan. As he gracefully strolled through the opulent hallways of the grand Reyes residence, he chanced upon his brother Takeomi, who was leisurely occupying his preferred secluded spot, calmly puffing on a cigarette as if he had risen only moments ago.

Takeomi interrupted with the words, "I already know it. The security guard informed me." conveying that he had already learned of the situation before Sanzu could mention it. Sanzu's eyebrows furrowed in irritation as he realized that Takeomi was already aware of the unfortunate event. Without wasting any time, Sanzu took control of the situation, "If you won't clean this mess, it'll affect your reputation." emphasizing the importance of resolving the issue promptly, reminding Takeomi that if they failed to do so, it would undoubtedly tarnish Takeomi's reputation as the President of Japan.
