3:14am; the clock that hung above the white hospital bed read. Michael sat in the exact same position as he had previously,, clutching Lukes hand and occasionally resting his head on the younger boys chest.

"...Michael?"

was all that was going through the crazy-color-haired boys head.
'it can't be happening'

"W-where am I?" The blond boy asked puzzled

Michael stared in disbelief thinking that I must have been an illusion caused by lack of sleep "fück" was all he managed to get out "it-this can't be actually happening"

the younger boy soon realized that his attempt to end his life had failed and tears began to stream down his face.

"Luke I'm I mean please don't cry, I fûcking, promise you won't ever try this again?" Michael pleaded with tears of his own beginning to appear

The blond lad looked at Michael with sad eyes "But it's all my fault.." Luke decided "all I ever do is inconvenience others so why should I co-"

"Please don't ever fucking say that" the older boy interrupted "you are literally perfect, you cause me to be insecure. I envy everything about you - your sparkling blue eyes and you always perfect quiff" Luke's checks then began to redden "how cute you look when you walk, the way your lanky legs look" Michael and Luke both giggled in unison.

When Luke looked back up he realized that Michael had been staring at him this whole time, making eye contact. It wasn't one of those awkward moments no it was more of a comfortable contact leaving Luke at ease. Before he knew it they were both leaning in - and suddenly their lips were only inches apart, Butterflies began to erupt in the younger boys stomach, "Mr. Clifford you should really get some rest" the young nurse called as she walked in the room, unaware of Luke

"Oh my when did mr.hemmings wake up? Why didn't you notify us immediately as we had asked you?" The nurse asked astonished "I'll be right back I just need to get the head nurse" the young lady said in shock before rushing out the room.

"Shît I'm probably gonna get in trouble for not telling them that you woke up. I think I should go now but I'll try and come back tomorrow?" The white haired boy let out before getting up and leaving - leaving Luke as empty as before.
