Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Olive took the Map to the Common Room after a quick stop at the Library to get some books on the topic.
'I still don't think this is the map to the Cup of Potions.' Hermione said.
'Well, finding a Professor hauling a mysterious map is not regular. Or maybe it is.' Ron said.
'That doesn't matter. The only thing that does is finding out where this map leads to.' Harry said.
Olive, who was busy staring at the map for the entire conversation gasped. The three of them looked at her.
'What?' Ron asked.
'I just realized. This map is of the South-West wing! There have been rumors there is a secret room hidden there. And this map is the one to it! And most possibly the Cup of Potions.' Olive replied.
Harry ran to her side and looked over her shoulder at the map.
'It is! The Great Hall, Hospital Wing, everything's here!' He exclaimed. 'Olive, you're a genius!' He said hugging her from the neck tightly.
'T-thanks, Harry. B-But I-I can't breathe.' She said. Harry let go of her.
'Maybe we should do this to Professor Dumbledore.' Hermione suggested.
'Are you mad? We shouldn't let anybody else find out about this! If our suspicions about Professor Maxwell are wrong, we might face serious embarrassment.' Ron said.
'Fair enough.' Hermione gave in.
'For now, we study it, and if we find anything we immediately act.' Harry said.
'You say "we" a lot, Harry.' Olive remarked. He just looked at her.
Hermione and Olive were staring at the Map non-stop. After reading it sixty-seven times, they realized there was no secret room or door. So, they come up with the idea that this was a magical object.
They thought of using spells but that didn't work. Until Harry and Ron came with the perfect one! Olive didn't quite remember what it was though...
But, the Map turned into the South West wing to the Gryffindor Common Room! And they were all there standing and sitting on it!
'Bloody hell,' Ron murmured.
'This just got a lot more interesting.' Olive remarked.
