Chapter 14 „You make me happy"

„Hope? Are you awake?"

I heard a voice besides me and opened my eyes. It was Lizzie who was watching me and her sister.

„Yeah now I am..."

„I'm sorry. I woke up, because Olivia went to the toilet and the bathroom."

I sat up and looked at Josie. Josie was still asleep and I could swear I could hear her calm breathe. I smiled and covered her up. Suddenly the bathroom door was open. Olivia was standing in the door frame facing us. She grinned, because I was still looking at Josie.

„Does she look sweet when she's asleep?"

„What?"

„Josie."

„Josie?"

„If you two are going to repeat her name a few more times, she will wake up."

„Don't try to change the subject Liz, I asked Hope a question."

„What do you want to hear?"

„What you're thinking."

„It's none of your business."

„This answer gives me an answer."

I blushed and turned back to Josie, who gently turned to me and grabbed my arm, she pulled me back towards her. Her brown eyes were looking into my blue ones and were totally sparkling. I smiled at her and moved a little closer.

„Did you sleep well or did we fall asleep in a shitty position?"

„Definitely in a shitty position.. My back hurts.. But it was uhm... worth it tho..."

Her face got redder from time to time and I smiled. I grinned and laughed. „Yeah...."

She looked at me with a shy smile. She covered us up and looked at me.

„What do you want to do today, Hope?"

„I don't know. What do you have in your mind, Jo?"

„Something funny."

„You really love to have fun, huh?"

„Of course, and I'm also glad, that you are feeling better."

„I really enjoy the time here. I'm glad that I decided to come."

„I'm also glad... I don't know, but I think I also wanted to see you again and even more after you had your humanity back."

I grinned at Josie and my eyes began to sparkle and flicker. Suddenly they were gold and I felt how my wolf was coming out again. Josie looked at me with a worried face now. She was looking at Lizzie and Olivia.

„Can you both maybe leave for a moment?"

„Everything you want, sister."

„Have fun with Hope."

When both girls left the room Josie looked into my golden eyes.

„Hope, is everything okay? Or why did your eyes decided to flicker?"

„I'm so sorry.. I don't know.. My wolf acts really weird these days."

Josie gently took my hands and held them.

„Just try to breathe in and out, ok?"

I closed my eyes and opened them again. They were finally blue again.

„There they are.."

„Huh?"

„Your.. ocean blue eyes.."

„You really like my eyes, or?"
