Chapter 12 - „You were the hardest one to leave behind"

I booped her nose and grinned.

„God, just kiss her Hope. What's holding you back from kissing her?", says Taylor.

Lizzie laughed and ate a slice of Pizza and watched us with a smirky smile.

„She's just mean sometimes."

I pulled away and put my head on Josie's shoulder. I don't know why, but she seemed a little bit upset now. She watched me from the side and let go of my hand. She grabbed a slice of pizza, but I stopped her. I stood up and stretched my hands out to her. She looked up and watched me with a questionable face.

„I would rather dance with you, Jo. If that's okay for you!"

I helped her to get up and I started to dance with her. I put my arm around her waist and she did the same. With my other hand I hold her hand and she did the same.

„You know, that you haven't done the task we were asking you to do. I'll take that as a 'You don't want to kiss her'", said Olivia.

I rolled my eyes, while I was dancing with Josie. I pulled her closer to me and admired her. Josie began to whisper something in my ear.

„I'm sorry if I sound weird, but didn't you want to kiss me or what was going on in your mind?"

I chuckled and whispered something back.

„I don't know, but something in my mind screamed 'Don't do this... yet"

The 'yet' part was so quiet, that nobody could hear it. She took my hand, twisted me away from her and then back to her in her arms. After I was in her arms I smiled and grinned. She also smiled and looked directly in my eyes.

„A minute is done girls. Sit down again."

We grinned and walked to our pillows and sat down on them again. She pulled my legs to her lap and gave me another slice of pizza. „Thank you", I whispered.

She smiled and looked at me from the side with admiration and a big smile on her face. I ate my pizza, drank a new bottle of alcohol and spun the bottle again. The water bottle points at Lizzie. „Of course it's me again."

I grinned and asked myself what she could do or what I can ask her.

„Truth or Dare?"

„Truth", she said.

I smirked. „It's a really good question and I really want to know this, but have you ever had feelings for a girl? Or only boys? I know that this is really private, but I asked myself this question for a long time."

Lizzie's eyes were suddenly wide open and she looked at me with an open mouth. Not knowing how to react or how to respond. She chuckled and blushed.

„Well.. No, only for boys, but it's a different feeling when it comes to you. I have this weird obsession with you after my sister left us and after our sire bond it was even more intense for me. But no worries.. I'm not in love with you. I only care about you a lot."

Josie choked on her drink and looked at Lizzie and couldn't stop laughing.

„As if you ever cared about Hope. You almost wanted to kill her when she put ..."

Suddenly Josie stopped talking and put her hands in front of her face, realizing she said too much. She glanced over at me to check if she screwed up, but I gave her a smile back, meaning everything's okay. She also smiled at me and drank a glass again.

Lizzie wasn't amused by the response of her sister. That's the reason why she looked annoyed and upset. „Josie, you know that's not true. I care about her a lot lately. Just because I haven't shown this before, doesn't mean I don't care about her and you weren't there, when she was at her worst."
