Your POV

"H-Hello, I'm (Y/N), (Y/N) (L/N)...it's nice to meet you.."
I say, shaking his hand with small smile placed on my face.
Sabo nodded with a small smile of his own, along with the other two.

After shaking his hand, I let go and waited for someone to break the silence since I didn't really have anything to say myself.

"So, (Y/N), do you need any sort of help? Like a home, or finding your home?"
Sabo said, looking at me with kind eyes.

Looking back at him, suddenly tears started to fall from my eyes.
It was uncontrollable, and I burst out crying.

"H-Hey, why are you crying, are you okay??"
Sabo says in a worried tone.

"(Y/N)! Are you okay, please don't cry!"
Luffy says, running up before gently touching my shoulders.

"Hey um it's okay, don't cry.."
Ace mumbled, coming a little closer but still keeping distance.

"What's wrong?! Was it something I said (Y/N)? I'm sorry.."
Sabo says, looking down.

"N-No, it's just, I-I remembered something that h-happened to m-me..."

"What..happened to you?"
Sabo said with curious eyes.

After explaining

"Oh..that's tragic.."
Ace says, shaking his head.

"Hey, it's okay, you're safe here...we won't let anything happen to you...can I hug you?"
Sabo whispered, to not look like a threat.

I nodded, desperate for someone's embrace of reassurance.
Once he started to hug me, eventually Ace and Luffy joined in.
For once, I felt...safe?

After a little while, they let go.

"T-Thank you, but I don't understand something..why are you guys being so nice to me, you just met me.."
I said, wiping away the residue of tears.

"Well, you seem harmless and a nice girl so..."
Sabo said, looking to the side.

My heart warms up hearing that and I smile.

"How sweet of you, SaBo, haha!"
Ace playfully mocks, chuckling.

"S-Shut up, Ace!"

"Nope!"

They both start to argue, I found it funny.
And for the first time in a while...I laughed.

"You guys are hilarious, hahaha!"
I yell, falling to the ground.

It was silent, so silent that all I could hear was the waves coming upon the sand.
Opening my eyes and standing up, I take a few deep breaths to calm myself down.

"Phew, that was really funn- why are you guys looking at me like that..?"
I say in a confused tone, tilting my head a little bit.

ASL POV

Watching (Y/N), their hearts raced.
That was the first time they saw her laughing, and it was amazing.
She looked so adorable and free...like she had no worries.

The three boys felt their cheeks, it was hot, and they could tell it was also a light pink.
Who was this girl that came among them, was it fate? Or God sending an angel?

Either way, they would protect her and keep her safe..no matter the cost.

Suddenly, her voice made them snap out of their gaze.

"Phew, that was really funn- why are guys looking at me like that..?"
(Y/N) said in a confused tone.

Sabo responded.

"U-Um, nothing..! It's just that's the first time you've laughed..and it surprised us.."

"Oh my gosh, your cheeks! They're pink! Are you okay, are you sick??"
(Y/N) shrieked, running up to him before holding his face.
"You okay, Sabo?! Oh gosh, it's red now!"

Sabo chuckled, nervously, before putting his hands on top of her hands.

"I'm f-fine, don't you worry about me..hehe.."

Watching this happen, the other two boys were not happy.
In fact, they were very, very jealous indeed.

Luffy acted quickly.

"H-Hey, you still haven't answered to my question!"

"Hm? Question..?"

"Yeah! I asked you if you wanted to be friends!"

"Ohh, yes of course, I'll be friends with all of you!"

Hearing, the two boys smiled softly.
But with Ace, he smiled too but then stopped, looking to the side.

"Now, let's get you to Dadan, she'll take good care of you!"
Sabo says, in a reassuring tone.

Narrator's POV - and timeskip to when they get to the house.

Standing in front of the door and taking a deep breath, Sabo knocks on the door a few times.
Dadan yells through the door, "What??!"

"It's just us three, Dadan!!"

Dadan opens up the door, irritated.

"What do you brats want?!"
She spat, cigar hanging out of her mouth.

"We found a girl! Can you help her?"
Luffy shouted.

"Hm..?"

The three boys step out of the way, revealing (Y/N).
