"You took my suggestion and showed the Avengers what you did to Réalta," the other says.
Rumlow startles slightly. "I didn't hear you come in." He pauses. "And yeah, I did."
"I am assuming that they did not take it well?"
"Maximoff cracked almost immediately; the others were visibly upset but held it together."
Rumlow's tone turns wickedly gleeful. "Except Barnes. He got physically sick."
Rumlow chuckles darkly.
"Then I kicked the others out and just spoke to Barnes. Of course, he predictably threatened to kill me, but I told him that wouldn't be easy. Then I told him how many times I visited Réa...how many times I used her."
"I see." The other pauses. "The Avengers all reacted much like you predicted they would. While the others did not threaten your life, I am certain that they all want vengeance. This means that, when the time is right, you will let them find you. Strictly to lure them where I need them to be, of course."
Rumlow nods. "Understood."
"Good." With that statement, the other disappears.
