After 5 years of training and hanging out with his friends, Hikki had finally gotten into Meikō Junior High. The boy was now 11 years of age standing at 5 feet 3 with a lean but muscular build.
Over the past five years, Hikki had progressed far into his basketball career. He could easily best the level of the first year players in the middle school scene and could match against some of the seniors in the Middle School basketball scene.
Currently, it was time for home room. In my home room class was my three friends.
End of The Day-
"Hikki-kun!" A voice rang out as a white haired boy turned to see a red haired beauty running towards him with two bags in her hand. "Oh. Thanks Asuka-chan." Spoke the boy as he grabbed the black duffel bag.
"Next time don't run off without me!" She reprimanded the boy by smacking his shoulder.
"Sorry, Asuka. I just really wanted to get to the basketball department." Spoke the boy.
"Hikki-tan, what a surprise to see you here." A voice drawled out as the white haired boy turned to see a brown haired giant following them while eating his snacks.
Hikki simply looked on in amusement. "It's alright Mekkun. we know you were lost also." Spoke Asuka.
"No. Not really. Mo-tan told me to look for you guys. I didn't want to, but he gave me these snacks." The tall boy drawled out.
"Well. Lead the way Isame." Spoke the white haired boy as Isame simply turned and lead the way for the three.
At the Basketball Department-
"You weren't even that far away. I could literally see you!!" Barked a voice as he pointed at his longtime friends approaching.
"Mo-tan. Do you have any more?" Asked Isame. "Oi. You didn't even walk that much of a distance.." The blond haired boy snapped at his longtime friend.
"It's alright Momoharu." As he heard that, the blond immediately calmed himself down.
Suddenly, an energetic voice came out of nowhere as the four looked to see a smiling boy. "What did you say?" Momoharu asked.
"Are you guys applying for Meikō Junior High's Basketball Team also?" The boy asked excitedly.
"Hai. Who are you? I don't think I've seen you in any of my lessons today?" Hikki asked.
"Oh. Sorry. I'm Ogiwara Shigehiro." Spoke the brown haired boy as he bowed politely.
It wasn't long until the greetings came to a stop. "Asuka, could you please do our forms. We really need to get going." Spoke Hikki as Asuka nodded.
"Of course. I'll meet you guys back at the basketball gym." Spoke Asuka as Hikki smiled warmly at her. "Arigatō, Asuka." Spoke the boy as the four aspiring basketballers suddenly left the red haired girl to her own devices.
With the four-
Arriving at the gymnasium didn't take long, Meikō Junior High was all for students showing their talents in sports and the school's best sport was by far Basketball, martial arts not being far behind.
The school was known as a winning school, winning majority of the National Championships in the past, despite the fact that they grabbed the eighth spot a year prior, they were still a strong team.
As the four entered the gym, they saw many people shooting and doing warm ups.
"Why are you following us?" Momoharu faced the oddity of the group.
"Because, you guys are my new best friends." Ogiwara stated with a smiling face. Hikki simply smiled before grabbing a basketball and shooting a full court shot.
"It's time to take the reigns." The white haired boy said as Ogiwara and all the other players stopped what they were doing to look at the high arcing ball swish into the basket with ease.
"Put up some shots." was the command which came from Hikki as everyone complied without hesistation...
