Luke was no stranger to sleeping over at my house. But I guess that changed when Luke and I started dating.

My mom had called Luke and me to the living room.

She looked at my boyfriend lovingly, "Now Luke, you know we all love you very much in this house. But, I don't know about you and y/n sleeping in the same bed together anymore."

My face fell into my hands, while Luke smiled, "I completely understand. Would it be better if I slept on the floor?"

"Well. I was thinking you sleep in the guest room." my mother continued

I sighed, "Ma, I know what you're thinking, but we aren't stupid. We-"

My mother cut me off, "I know you aren't stupid, but I just want you to understand that this would just be better."

Even though I understood her perspective, I couldn't help but feel frustrated. Falling asleep in Luke's arms was my favorite feeling ever. He felt like home.

I didn't want to be difficult, but I also didn't want Luke sleeping in the other room, when he could be sleeping with his arms around me.

Finally, I sighed, "Okay. I'll go get the blankets for the guest room."

I stood up, heading to the storage closet upstairs.

Luke followed behind me, his hands wrapping around my waist from behind me.

"She has a point you know. We're growing up." he told me, seeing I was upset.

Sighing, I relaxed in his arms, "I know. I'm just a little frustrated."

He tightened his grip around me, swaying side to side. We stayed like that for a while.

I'm so in love with this boy.

Finally, he kissed my cheek, "I love you babe."

"I love you too."

After a few hours of playing video games in my room, I felt my eyes getting heavy.

"I think I'm done for the night. I'm gonna go get ready for bed." I told Luke, getting up from my chair.

He yawned, "Me too."

We brushed our teeth, I did my skincare while Luke washed his face with my mango scented hand soap.

I scoffed, "I still don't understand how you have clear skin without even trying."

He looked at me, soap foaming on his face.

I couldn't help but laugh at the sight, until he tried to kiss me.

"No! Get away from me!" I laughed out, pushing him away from me.

"Give me a kiss!"

After a little fighting, Luke finally caught me off guard and placed his foamy lips onto mine.

He pulled away, a goofy smile on his face. "I love you!"

"I hate you." I whispered, smile not leaving my face.

We finished up in the bathroom, and Luke began walking towards my bedroom door. I grabbed his arm, pulling him into a hug.

"Can you stay in here? Hold me until I fall asleep?" I asked.

He sighed, "No baby. I don't want your mom to get upset."

"Please?"

He looked down at me, our eyes locking.

"Okay. Just until you fall asleep."

We got under the blankets, his arms around me, my head on his chest.

I sighed, "I can hear your heartbeat."

"No duh."

Rolling my eyes, I began falling asleep.

Luke kissed my forehead, and slowly got up. "I love you. So much."

I smiled. Knowing the love of my life was just going to be in the other room, I couldn't be luckier.
