"Are you and Jungkook dating?"
"Yes...but..." She tries to speak further but Taehyung interrupted her and said.
"Don't you think that being your friend, I also have some rights? Instead of coming to know about this from you, I'm getting to know about it from others" He released her hand and looked into her eyes.
"Hahaha...." Y/n burst out laughing after hearing his question.
"Hyy....why are you laughing now ?"
"Because my best friend is dumb"
"Huh? What you mean....?"
"Haha ....people said and you believed it? You should have come and asked me once" She said while wiping her tears which had come out due to continuous laughing.
"What do you mean? Say it clearly,"
"I want to say that YES, Jungkook and I are dating but only in front of all school students. You could say we're pretending to date"
When Y/n said this, Taehyung had two kinds of feelings at the same time, he was happy and also confused because he didn't know what does Y/n mean by pretending?
"It's enough now Y/n, my head is spinning please tell me the truth what is all this"
"Just understand that Jungkook and I are not really dating, we're just pretending, I'll tell you the rest some other time"
"But...."
"But what nothing... let's go, we are getting late for the school or do you want me to get scolded by the crocodile? Huh?" She said and chuckled.
In school canteen ~
"Hey sweetheart...."
Y/n and Taehyung were eating peacefully in the canteen when Jungkook comes over and sits next to Y/n.
"Hey kook....."
"Hello Jungkook" Taehyung awkwardly greet.
"Hello nerd..." Jungkook sarcastically greet back.
"Kook...!!" She glare at him.
"Ok...ok...hello Taehyung!" He again greet but this time he greet with his bunny smile.
"If you've finished your food, I need to talk to you about something" He said while holding her hand.
"Mine is done but Taehyung's left, wait for a while" She says and looks towards Taehyung."TaeTae......finish your food fast"
"But I want to talk to you, not him" Jungkook says, holding her hand harder." If you don't mind, can I take my girlfriend with me?" He sarcastically asked.
As soon as he says this, Taehyung's spoon falls out of his hand. Seeing Taehyung's reaction, Y/n punches Jungkook lightly.
"Excuse us tae...I need to teach someone some manners. Let's go kook!" She grabs his ear and starts dragging him with her.
"Ahh babe ... it's hurt, leave me"
"Aww...it must be..."
The entire canteen was watching their drama. For Y/n ,what they were doing was just a small fight between two friends, but to the entire canteen, it seemed like a love spat between couple and Taehyung also felt the same.
His eyes were filled with tears which could have flowed out at any time. Yumi was standing at a distance from him. She was smirking while watching all this. She called one of her friend and whispered something in her ear. Then yumi went behind Taehyung and stood there.
