It was my first day at St Marley's. I got up before my alarm rang and ironed my outfit for the day, a light coral tank top, a golden pendant, a blue denim jacket, black skinny jeans held by a golden belt, and black boots. I made myself some scrambled eggs and toast and got a cup of black coffee. Then I woke Jacob up. "Good morning love," He murmured rubbing his eyes. He looked so adorable that I could just pinch his white cheeks and kiss him for hours. "Good morning sleepy head! Your breakfast's outside, hurry up and then drop me, okay?" I said. I washed myself up and caught Jacob staring at me as I dried my hair. "How can you do all this and still manage to look like a goddess?" I giggled and replied, "You flatter me, Mr. Holden." "I'm just being honest, soon-to-be Mrs. Holden."

I expressed how excited I was to go to St Marley's in the car. Jay seemed amused and delighted to see me so happy. "I'm happy that you're happy," He said. We entered the building again and the Korean lady at the reception again asked me if I was applying for a job. "No, ma'am, I'm a student," I replied. Then she seemed to have a sudden flashback and said, "Ah, yes. Go through the lobby and you'll see class 5. That's your assigned class."

I reached my class and sat on the fifth bench beside a tomboyish girl. I was left speechless by her style because she looked drop-dead gorgeous in her leather jacket and boots and a beanie. She had flawless, fair skin and big brown eyes with long eyelashes.

She was wearing huge, expensive headphones and testing on her phone while chewing gum. The music on her headphones was so loud that even I could hear it. "Hey," I said. She didn't seem to notice me. "Hi!" I said a little louder. She continued texting, still inattentive towards me. "Jeez Alex, the poor girl's been trying to talk to you for a while now!" Said a brown-haired guy pulling out that girl's headphones. "Hm? Oh sorry, I was texting some homies, are you new here?" She said taking them back. "Yeah, I'm Savannah Thompson, I'm new here, could you please help me out?" I said feeling somewhat nervous. That girl seemed sweeter than I'd expected. "Hi Savannah, I'm Blake Lively. May I say you look stunning?" I immediately shot up my left hand to show my finger as I said, "I'm engaged!" The girl snorted and replied, " Ha! Finally, someone has taught you a lesson! Stop messin' with the new girl Blake. I'm Alexandra Doukas. Alex for short. I'm Greek. Nice to meet you." We started talking and I told Alex and Blake all about Jacob and my old life back in Boston. And then we had our very first class.

All the teachers were nice and I had a lot of fun on my first day. I couldn't wait to go back home and tell Jacob everything. I was so tired too. I said my goodbyes to Alex and Blake and went to the bus stop. I sat down on the bench and thought of taking a small nap before climbing on the bus, which would take a long to arrive. I suddenly woke up to hear a woman screaming. "Hey! I saw you right there you pervert! Delete them now!" She said. Then I turned my head to the other side to see a middle-aged man in his forties rushing to hide his phone in his bag and then moving with great speed. The woman quickly caught up with him and snatched his bag away. She took out the phone, threw it on the ground with force, and smashed it with her hefty boots. The guy tried to run again but she caught him by his collar and tied his hands back with her scarf. She then called the police as I watched, with my jaw dropped on the ground. The police arrived and took him away, saying they'd received many complaints about him and thanking the woman for catching him using her sharp and quick self.

Then she came near me and noticed my unfazed face. "He took photos of you and closed up on some specific areas. He was probably going to sell them. I honestly cannot stand such men. Such perverts!" She explained. "Oh my god, thank you so much! I must repay your esteemed bravery! Please accept this," I said gratefully, offering some cash. "Oh no, don't worry about it! I'm from Texas. In Texas, we don't protect a woman's dignity for cash!" "Of course," I said somewhat ashamed.

We exchanged numbers and headed to our homes. Turned out she lived just across my street! I went home and told Jacob all about my day. "That little asshole! If I were there, I wouldn't have waited for the police and just killed him then and there!" He said when I told him about the pervert. "Control babe," I said giggling. "I'm fine now!" "Lucky that girl was there, you should learn some means of self-defense Savannah!" I nodded and we both slept. It had been a long day...

I woke up extra early the next morning and baked a dozen of chocolate chip cookies. I followed my great-grandmother's recipe and they turned out perfect just like hers! "I smell deliciousness!" Jacob said rubbing his eyes as he woke up. " They're not for you!" I said slapping away his hand which was about to take one of the cookies. "Aww, come on!" "They're for that girl from yesterday!" I replied. "Oh alright," I put all the cookies in a jar and took them to her house. She opened the door and I said, "Good morning Holly!" I said as I handed her the jar "These are for you!" "Oh my, thank you, they smell amazing." She replied taking a whiff of the delicious cookie-smelling air. She invited me to come in but I politely refused saying I had to get to college.

I came back home and quickly dressed up. A cropped sweatshirt, mom jeans, and a pair of black sneakers were in order. Jacob insisted on driving me so I went in. He dropped me off and then headed to work.

"Hey," I said to Alex as I saw her in another trendy outfit- A little black dress with a Gucci belt, black see-through stockings, and chunky high-heeled boots. "Gorgeous as ever!" I said with a smile. "You too!" We waited for Blake and spent the rest of the day studying and hanging out at McDonald's.
