Seo Yul was walking out of the palace, leaving the library, currently walking down the stairs. His head thinking of every possible scenario that could've happened but his mind was cut short from his theory, when he heard a yell.
"Intruders! We have intruders!" His head snapped towards the yell, not wasting a second before running towards the sound of the commotion. The other mages including Dan-gu, who were still in the library minding their own business definitely heard that second yell, dropping all of their things and running outside. The men that the two girls had previously seen on top of the roof, were now more than just three.They jumping the barriers of the palace roof onto the ground, some with a torch. Others carrying a jar that contained gasoline that they threw at the training center. The intruders with the Torches lit the training center on fire. Dang-gu Came out of the palace and made it onto the bridge by the training center where he took out his sword and began swinging at The Intruders knocking one off into the water. Seo Yul on the other hand was in the center of the courtyard, holding two swords, outnumbered. He swung at an intruder as he kicked at the one behind him, he turned around and crossed his swords for a second before a blinding light blue colored energy flame rises of his swords. He uncrosses them send a wave of energy knocking the 5 men in front of him of of their feet into the wall across and some in the water. Dang-gu still fighting on the bridge, swings his sword as he jumps into the air spinning when his sword releases a sort of gust of wind and knocks a man out cold and hard onto the bridges corner. Just then the door in the corner of the Courtyard open slightly, Naksu and Y/n peeking through the door and slipping through closing the door, heading to the tunnel on the edge of the courtyard that leads into the other side of the palace. Naksu goes ahead Y/n right behind her before Y/n sees Yul fighting the men. He stabs 3 intruders in front of him before spinning and twirling his blade in his hand with ease before stabbing the one right behind him. Y/n chuckled in awe. "Hot" she thought. More men came up to Yul and he was circled. Y/n panicked at this before she thought of an idea. She stretched out her hand before sending her single red energy flames into one side of the circle knocking all the men onto the other side of the courtyard, hoping to provide Yul some help. This certainly didn't go unnoticed by him as he quickly turned to look from where that energy source came from, she was gone. The fight continued. At the top of the palace were two men standing in black cloaks. Y/n got a glance at them before she left, going after Naksu. An energy almost as bright as the sun forms above the palace causing the Intruders to start running, and leaving the Mages looking around and confusion of what just happened and who were those intruders. The servants and other Mages of Songrim are collecting buckets of water, throwing it onto the training center that's been lit on fire by the same Intruders. Headmaster Jang comes into the palace,
"Out of the way!" he yells, everybody scurries out of the way as he's lifting his arms up and wide. Bringing up the water that the servants and mages were throwing on to the palace's Training Center forming it into lines above him, energy seeping from his hands before he pushes his arms in front of him forcing all the water to go into the training center and take out the fire. Clouds of smoke being the only thing left remaining.

Yul and Dang-gu walk about to an intruders body looking at it.
"Yul, what the hell is going on?"
Before Yul can reply a mage comes running to them, "The Training Center is on Fire!" Yul and Dang-gu look at each other for a second before taking off towards the Training Center.

Headmast Jang and the two boys head into the underground room in the palace, Headmaster Jang looks down at the empty structure of concrete, the same structure that Naksu and Y/n's bodies were left on. Yul blinks hoping that his eyes deceive him. Her body is gone.
