"H-hey! Have you read that one light novel about that blue haired pirate? He's so cool!" "Ughh, Sakuya... Of course I did, h-hey! Don't get any ideas on trying to spoil something on me! I-I'm still at chapter 18!"
Two High School girls were talking about the light novel they piqued their interest in, as the grunting one hoped her friend would not spoil a future chapter, or that's what she had thought.
Ring~!
"Hmm?" Josée gets up from her seat, she looks at Kotaro, before looking at the front door.
"Oh? It must be them..." said Kotaro, as he felt the fading footsteps of Josée to the front door.
"Alright... Here we go." inhaled and exhaled Josée. As she opened the front door after she checked the door's peephole.
Click...~!
"Hello?" greeted Josée, as she opened the door, only to find no one was in front of her mere presence.
"... Is this how humans greet each other?" she asked herself.
"Must I stand here and wait?" she questioned herself once more.
She then thought the best thing to do was shut the door behind her as she headed back inside the house.
"Kotaro... No one's ther-..." Josée was cut off by Kotaro's sudden absence out of the blue. Josée eyes widened as he tried to search for him, she seemed quite desperate here.
"Kotaro?" she repeated his name, as she opened the doors of the first floor, all of them. But she had yet to find the loose blind boy.
"I could try a blessing. But, that doesn't seem necessary... Oh well, he's upstairs if he's not down here." said Josée, before walking upstairs as she looked around.
"Hmm? The door's open..." Josée mentioned, as she slightly opened the door.
"So, when Yama-kun tried to call for me, he ended up tapping a random girl's shoulder!" a voice seemed to be heard from Kotaro's room.
"Oi! That girl was almost identical to Mimi! Ya gotta believe me, man!" a masculine boy could also be heard too.
"H-huh..!?" Josée was left in shock.
"Pfft! Hahaha!" laughed Kotaro.
"I hear the voices but... Where are the other two humans?" she asked herself, barely above a whisper.
"Perhaps this is what they call... A call... A device that lets humans communicate at far distances." she analyzed, as she saw the phone next to him. Although, he didn't seem to use the telephone, it was most likely a voice message just like the first encounter.
