"Oh... I'm so sorry, how did you die, my lost soul?" A tall man wearing a black clock appeared before the very poor creature. That seems to be a kitten that had lost one of its legs.
"Now, now. Come to this basket, I will guide you to the afterlife." He whispered, with a gentle tone.
Surprisingly, the tall inhumane figure appeared to be someone without skin, nor even a complete human body. All that was left was nothing, but a skeletal figure and his black clock. An attire of choice. And the deep, dark emptiness from his empty eye sockets.
The kitten, with a soul-like appearance comes out of the blender. Heading towards the skeletal figure as it purred in the basket he was carrying with him.
"Oh, what a cruel world." The Grim Reaper led out a small sigh, lifting the medium sized basket as he continued to walk on the very deep parts of the Earth, that lies nothing but souls wandering around the land. Lost and confused, scared and afraid, irritated and angry. Every emotion lies within those very poor souls.
Fuu..~
Hmm... Hmmph~
Haa...~
The fresh air of the Celestial Plains. The view of the heavenly clouds were all the good people were able to see and dwell on. The highest peak of greatness was surely expected to be given to the pure good.
"Ha!"
"Hmph!"Two angel guardians were seen sparring on the heavenly training field. One was seen using a spear while the other was holding her ground with a medium sized sword.
SWISH!
SLASH! SLASH!
KRICK!As their weapons clashed with one another, they stopped, smiling at each other's accomplishments. Rivalry was present, and their laughter was, too.
"You fought well."
"Ha! Well, I was this close to beating you, Charlotte."The two angels laughed out loud, as if they were the best buddies in the world.
Angels were made by god's shimmering light. And will not back away from an order, no matter how dark nor dangerous a task may be.
Idealistic, emotional, stoic, intelligence. They share the similarities of human qualities as much as it sounds. But, two sides may always share one difference, or two.
A heavenly castle in heaven, a common construction even the most non-religious human may imagine. A residential building? Or could it be a place of commission?
"Angel Josée." A wandering messenger flew to her balcony. "You have been called by the Upper Heavens. Please, come with me."
An Angel with blonde hair, blue eyes with a nice figure of a woman could be seen, enjoying the scenery from the castle's balcony.
"I see. I will be present, soon." Angel Josée replied, with a stoic face. The messenger faded, with a cloudy 'poof' sound, a sign that it had departed.
"Haaa... What a beautiful view..." Josée takes one look at the scenery, once again. Before heading upstairs, to the peak, the highest floor of the celestial castle.
Humming, a choir, a beautiful chandelier and an elegant vibe can be felt even meters away from its grand door. Josée takes a step and a deep breath, before opening the door that'll surely lead to the start of her assigned mission.
"How may I be of your assistance, commander?" Josée kneeled before the high figure. That seems to represent that of a god.
Josée, with a passive stoic face, with her eyes closed as she faced the ground. Letting them know who has the most dominance.
"Angel Josée..." the enlightened figure stepped down from his throne. Walking at a normal pace as he got to the average distance from Josée.
"You're considered to be one of the finest. Fitting to achieve the status, and the responsibility of an Angel." the commander commended the stoic angel.
Angel Josée continued to listen.
"Perhaps you may be able to partake in..."
The busy streets were the same as usual, businessmen in their cars, off to work. It was just the average day for the Japanese.
The Cherry Blossoms swayed and its petals danced in the air, a few people caught one of its petals by chance, they smiled as they went on their day.
A blindfolded boy could be seen in his room, he appeared to be sleeping. Not bothered visually, he was alone in this lonely apartment. There was a cane next to him, without reason. Some braille books and headphones. Perhaps he was a bookworm, many may say.
"Oh, what a beautiful view..."
A familiar voice appears out of the blue on the balcony, savouring the pleasant feeling of staring at the view from the balcony.
"Humans..." Josée was invisible for a brief moment, she wanted to see what lies ahead of her mission, she knew she had to think of an appearance to fit in like a chameleon. The Japanese... What hair color do they usually have? What are their facial features? How do they act? Billions of thoughts raced through her mind, but this is only normal.
"Hmm... Perhaps..." Josée went inside, she was in the blindfolded boy's living room. After much contemplation, she decided to go for a young motherly look. A French woman that's in her 20s. An elegant beauty resides the disguised angel's face.
All that was left was to wait for the blindfolded boy to wake up soon enough, will she be able to start her mission.
She then accidentally got her foot hit by a nearby table, of course, it never hurt, but it did make noise.
"H-hello..!? Who's there!?" A male voice could be heard, a desperate one.
"Mom? D-dad? Is that you?" he asked once again.
"Oh, dear..." Josée went upstairs.
"Hello...! I am... I'm your new caretaker." Josée said, trying to sound soft.
"Huh? Caretaker...?" the boy asked, as he repeated the claimed sentence.
"Yes... Your parents... They called me to take care of you." Josée said, still with a stoic face.
"Parents..? Huh..." the blindfolfed boy said.
"How strange."
"I never had parents."
