Chapter 22

Tony's POV

The entire team are watching movies in the living room, Steve has came in just halfway through Grown Ups 2 but then 20 minutes later Natasha comes down which I found suspicious but I didn't say anything. Close to the end of the movie Friday spoke up what gave us all a jump scare

"Boss, Peter has deactivated Karen." I looked over to Pepper who had the same confused look on her face as I did

"Are you sure Karen didn't start updating?" I suggested

"No Karen tried to call you but Peter had ordered 'override 53' which stops her from phoning you then Peter activated protocol 'shutdown' right after when Karen tried to disobey." Friday explains

"Who's Karen?" Clint asked

"Peter's Personal Ai now shut the hell up." I turned my attention back to Friday "Friday Phone Peter"

The phone starts to ring I look over to Pepper and she has a worried look but I am also worried so I need to get to the bottom of this. A few seconds what felt like hours went by Peter didn't answer.

"Fri activate 'Baby Protocol' now!" I said fast and clear worry in my voice Peter always answers his phone even during the middle of the night. The phone patched through

"Pete?"

A couple seconds later

"Kid are you there?" I looked around the room everyone was pale and worried

All of a sudden a faint familiar evil laugh came through what made my blood boil

The Green Goblin.

The phone hung up, I immediately grabbed my watch and I tapped a button on my watch and the suit is forming

"Fri tell Helen get the Medbay ready, Open the window and track Peter now!" I said she didn't reply but I know she was doing it as I seen the window opening.

"Tony if Peter is in trouble wait for us." Natasha tried to say

"No I'll get him." I said quick and firm walking to the window

"Tony we don't know who that was, your running in blind." Bucky says to me

"I know who that was and I don't care if I am running in blind." I said already was close to the window

"Let us help To-" Steve tried to say

"No." I said as I walked out the window and I started flying to Peter. I swear if that Troll hurt my kid I will blast him so hard that he would be unrecognisable.

I got there after what felt like hours but only was 5 minutes and I seen Peter unconscious, beaten up badly, covered in blood and stab wounds what looks like from the Goblins glider, it doesn't look good, I picked his weak, beaten, body up then spoke towards Friday.

"Friday would it be fine to fly with him?" I asked with my voice shaky.

"Affirmative but you need to be quick his heart rate is faint, it will stop if you don't get to the tower within 3 minutes." Friday said to which I instantly put my mask back on and used 100% of my thrusters instead of 80% which isn't recommended it could damage myself and especially Peter but it is a risk I am willing to take it because I got here in 5 minutes but Peter will die in 3 minutes.

I took off with a lot more velocity but I didn't care about that, I needed my kid to be in the Medbay now.

30 seconds later I just got about halfway there, Peter's heart rate is still collapsing and my bones are hurting but I am pushing through. I need my kid to be safe.
