"Princess. Yun—"

Crashing through the doors, the bartender charged out into the street, burning chaos brewing about her. The burling hot red of the fire licked at the tavern. It was worse than last time. The repair costs would probably come out of her salary.

What a pain.

Behind her, a different red rushed out, bow aimed at the ready. She treaded carefully to the taverness' side. They shared a glance.

"Tell me! Where are 'em monsters of yers?"

In the center of the chaos, a bulky man sneered at the villagers. With a long inhale of the smoky air, he taunted the frantic people to call on their protectors. To beg and pray til their dying breath if need be.

He flicked out his sword. "Or do I have to lure 'em out...." His eye snagged to the clambering villagers as they fled his men. "Is the fire not enough? Maybe I need more blood."

A woman screamed as he stalked towards her, sword spinning in his hand. He laughed, his men following, as he cornered her and two other villagers between burning carts. Raising his sword, he bellowed for the monsters to accept his humble sacrifice.

An arrow dinged the sword from his hand.

With a cry, the man clutched his wrist and snapped to Yona as she rose her bow again. "Oh? Has a little girl come to offer herself? How generous."

As the three townspeople took the opportunity to slip away, other bandits rushed past their boss. They hollered as they charged for the princess.

With a glare, she ripped out her sword. Her attackers didn't make it far.

Descending upon them, a guandao ripped the air from their lungs and the fires. The bulky man watched as his men flew back to his feet, blinking. Yona shot up in surprise.

"Hak!" He tisked.

"What happened to fighting from the backlines, huh!?" She huffed, mumbling she got caught up in the moment. Mira and everyone were so cool... kicking through the doors and all.

The beast deadpanned.

The bandit leader stared at his crippled men. "Wh—"

"Blood offerings? The only one I see bleeding is you, bud." The man lurched as a leg smashed into his neck. "Besides, those monsters aren't your problem at the moment."

Mira watched as he stumbled back, cursing. Another bandit cried out in pain as she smashed his face in with her elbow. As she stomped her heel into the lacky's fallen form, the leader rose.

He cracked a grin. "A villager with guts? I thought all ya's was good for was showing 'em pearly whites."

She huffed a laugh and said, "Take it from me, sweetie, blood ain't worth shit. This ain't one of those silly superstitions." The man seethed, yanking a polearm free to stab at her.

With a crazed smile, she bent herself back and danced out from under the spear. The bandit blinked, and she threw her knee into his side.

With a grunt, the man flew towards a facing building and into carts that were set up in front of it. Villagers screamed and scurried away as the wooden structures shattered around him.

Mira tisked when he didn't get up.

Glancing back, she watched her newly arrived customers. Together, they braced out into the street behind the red head and her man friend. The bandits cowered away from them, staring wide at white's arm as it threw their comrades back. Grasshead's kick too. She laughed.

As Yona smiled at her friends, Yun peeked out from the tavern. He hissed for them to come back inside and lay low. Rather, the group watched the bandits circle back from them, trembling as they supported each other.
