Mira sighed. "How'd I get here?" She massaged her temples as she watched the siblings race around the houses. "Barely reach thirty, and I already have two adult children."
Yamiyo called Mori a raging tortoise. She snapped back that he was a doodoo head. Mira sighed again.
"Scratch that, they're still twelve." She glanced at Yun as he walked over.
He had bagged eyes of his own. "I unfortunately know the feeling." He took a deep breath. "And I'm not even twenty." Mira hummed.
"Ah, kin we are then," Mira said, dreary as the two of them grumbled. Eun giggled behind them.
Yun's own childish idiots bowed their heads to him. "Sorry, Mother..."
The boy snapped to them. "Shut up! I don't remember giving birth to any of you!" Eun giggled more as she watched them all whine.
While Yun scolded them, Mira graced herself one more sigh.
Yamiyo choked as she caught him by the collar of his cloak. Seeing her brother apprehended, Mori skidded to a stop. She turned to Mira, weakly smiling. Her sister stared back, bland.
"Drop it."
The dagger puffed into the snow. "Yes, ma'am."
She blinked her glare to Yamiyo next, and he scoffed. "She started it." Mori cursed him.
She shut when Mira turned to her. Softly, she apologized and plopped to the snow. Teetering over, Eun patted her head.
Mira snapped back to Yamiyo as he noted the sheathed swords on the yokai's back. He met her stare and muttered he was too old for her scoldings. It wasn't like when he and Eichi were kids; she couldn't act like their mother anymore.
Mira huffed a laugh. "Then why don't you start acting like an adult, hm?" she asked, and he glared, "and stop encouraging her childish antics." They both peered at Mori. She hid behind Eun's legs.
He huffed, crossing his arms. "I don't know what yer talking about." Mira stared at him.
"Really? That's so funny, because" —she tilted her head, smiling— "I happened to hear Mori was sparring this morning. Injured, might I add." He froze. "How curious... I wonder who she sparred with..."
Yamiyo turned away. "Not scared of ya, ya know."
Mira grinned, dark. "Yer right, I'm not your mother... I have no moral obligation to be just with you." The group inched away from them, slowly. He peered up at her.
"Ya wouldn't dare."
As Yamiyo bared his teeth, Mira cackled. "Try me, you little shit." A dark aura surrounded them both as they glared the other down. She smiled. "Eun, darling, remind me to tell Eichi that Yami's only eating vegetables tonight. I heard he made a lot of bean sprouts~"
Glare gone, Yamiyo's face contorted into one of gasped fear. "Ya monster!"
The group deadpanned.

Yona watched Mira and Eun coo as they patted the dancer's head. Mopey, he scowled, and Mira gushed, calling him adorable. He yelled at her, and the princess smiled.
They'd be okay.
With a huff, Yamiyo raised his arms over his head. "That's it! I'm out. I'm done dealing with this today." He shoved from the lovers, and they laughed.
"See you at dinner later!" Eun called after him as he stalked to the ledge. Mira snorted.
"Fuck off!"
