(HIHIHI, anyway, this one is a modern au/college au/coffee shop because I LOVE THOSE, so ye :) KAVEH BARISTA)
Third person pov:
A new bustling coffee shop is now in Sumeru! It had many videos on social media promoting it, and it caught the eye of two people. Kaveh decided he'll work there as a barista, while Alhaitham just wants to taste the coffee.
(Time skip to when kaveh gets the job and works at the coffee shop. TOTALLY NOT CUZ IM BEING LAZY)
Alhaitham was gonna go get his usual morning coffee. He walks in to see a new barista. A cute blonde with little cat pins on his black apron. That blondes beauty immediately caught Alhaitham's eye. He waits in line, his gaze not leaving for a second that new barista. He looks at the name tag, intrigued to know more about this 'mysterious' new barista. Next to a little cat sticker, he sees the name Kaveh.
He forgets all about what he was thinking before when he sees Kaveh flash a bright smile at another customer and look at him. Alhaitham feels butterflies form in his stomach even though he hasn't even spoken to the man yet.
"Hello! what would you like to order?" Kaveh said with another bright smile. Alhaitham's senses got destroyed when he heard the blonde man's voice. He orders his coffee a bit confused about the feelings he's having. After ordering his coffee, the blonde asks for his name. "What's your name?" Kaveh looked at him with those pretty ruby eyes. "Oh, uh... Hayi." He decided to go with his nickname since he thinks his name would probably be difficult to write. Kaveh nods while writing, Alhaitham couldn't help but take a peek to see the blonds writing. It was a bit messy since he wrote fast, but it was nonetheless pretty. "It'll be ready in a second..." Kaveh said before going to make his coffee.
Alhaitham looked at him while he prepared it. After a moment, he stopped looking at him since it might be uncomfortable if kaveh noticed Alhaitham had been staring at him nonstop. He fidgeted with his fingers waiting patiently. He heard Kaveh call out his nickname and went to go get his coffee. He took the mug and thanked him. He sat down and looked at his coffee, noticing the latte art of a cute cat on his coffee. He looks at Kaveh now, noticing how much he likes cats. Kaveh notices Alhaitham looking at him and flashes him another bright smile. Alhaitham smiles back, the baristas who've been working longer at the coffee shop than Kaveh take note of this.
When Alhaitham leaves flashing a smile at Kaveh, Kaveh starts feeling weird a bit. The other baristas make sure there are no more customers before escorting him away to the back. Kaveh doesn't even have the time to speak before they bombard him with questions.
"Did you see how he looked at you! Do you think he has a thing for you..?
"He's always so cold... I wonder why he likes you..."
"Do you guys know each other-"
"I don't know!" He screamed by accident. He instantly covered his mouth. "Sorry for screaming... But I really don't know anything about him..." The baristas looked disappointed. They collectively sighed and looked at Kaveh.
"He's normally so cold, and he doesn't even glance at us. He definitely has a thing for you..." After she said that kaveh's, he felt blush creep onto his face. "We saw how he looked at you... Oh shit...! we have to go back... I forgot we were at work..." They groaned and went back. Kaveh felt weird and couldn't get his face out of his mind. The moment Kaveh saw him, He knew he was hot. But like, really hot. But I he didn't pay it much attention since he knew that many people would come to this café, so of course, every so often, there'd be a hot person. But now that he thinks of it... how many times would a hot guy be interested in him at the café...
It's decided! He'll try and get him!
(TIME SKIP (AGAIN OML-) TO NEXT DAY)
Alhaitham walked in and saw that same familiar barista making coffees and taking orders. He walked around so gracefully and chatted with the other baristas, sometimes laughing, showing his famous bright smile. A barista whispered in his ear, and he nodded quickly, taking his post as the cashier. A couple of seconds later, it was his turn to order. Kaveh looked at him with a sort of different smile. There was a sort of seductivness and other thing Alhaitham didn't know. Alhaitham ordered what he wanted and saw Kaveh give him a nod.
"Right away, cutie..."
Kaveh gave him a wink before walking away to make his coffee. Alhaitham was dumbstruck and felt his face burn. He walked to the place to go get his stuff.
When his coffee arrived, he saw a little post-it note attached to the mug. He read it quickly and turned around to find Kaveh smirking at him. Kaveh walked away to serve another customer while Alhaitham still had to sit down.He sat down at the spot closest to Kaveh. Some of the baristas whispered between each other while Kaveh just chuckled since he heard some of it. He glanced at Alhaitham, who stored the note in his sweaters pocket.
Kaveh noticed and said the good news to the other baristas.
