Avery unable to wait ripped the wrapping paper of her present open and peeled the barrier which prevented her from seeing her present from Jameson fully.
Jameson just sat on the couch smirking. In the package was two small items. Both of which made Avery smile. One was a diamond necklace. Encrusted with diamonds. She almost felt like it was too much.
The other made her smile for another reason it was a collage and a photo of her and Jameson every year since they began dating. Jameson was strangely silent. One on the beach. One in the house, one in the snowy mountains. She said
"Jameson I love it" she sniffles
But Jameson stayed silent.
"Jameson?"
And when she turned around. Boom. Heart Attack. Jameson was there on one knee wearing that smug expression of his and holding a velvet little box with a small object if which I accepted I welcomed a big change. Specifically to my last name.
I gasped in surprise and disbelief and my eyes began to severely water. I was edging on crying.
"Merry Christmas Heiress. Will you Marry Me?"
Shocked. Was the only comprehensible word in my head. I nodded slowly and lowered myself so I was on level with him.
"Yes Jameson I'll marry you."
And as I slid my arms around him in a warm embrace. I cried.i cried tears of joy.
