Drying off the last of the dishes I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion.

The house was.... oddly quiet. Jameson and our daughter Lizzy had been spending time together in the kitchen 20 minutes ago, but now they were gone. I walked around the corner to find toys scattered on the ground. I sighed.

Where had those two gotten to?

I like to think Jameson is more like Lizzy. They're both troublemakers. Incredibly mischievous. I huffed and went looking.

I heard laughing from inside our bedroom and pushed open the door hesitantly to find....

Jameson and Lizzy pigging out on Easter chocolate.

"Hey!" I exclaimed. "No more chocolate!"

They both pouted and I raised an eyebrow.

In unison they huffed, but not before shoving one last piece of chocolate in their mouths.

I refrained from laughing and used my stern mom face.

"Both of you out now."

They both retreated out and I smiled before closing the door.
