'Jesus! Father wasn't kidding when he said that this could be considered an infiltration mission. FUCK! STEALTH, ACTIVATE!'

Fwip! Fwip! Ta-TANG.

"WHO'S THERE?!" a man shouted, throwing several Golden Hair Needles, at your previous position.

You slipped past the guard. 'Swift Wolf of Dawn and Sunset!' you sprinted the rest of the way. 'Only 5 seconds left on the stealth. Gotta hurry!'

You jumped past a barricade, and you slid to a stop by the door of the Zhongli private training rooms.

Tak. Tak. Shuffle. Beep!

You slipped in, an absolute panting mess, hiding in the corner of the room as the mechanical doors slid to a close. "Father... I'm here as you requested."

A dark figure slipped out from the darkness from the opposite side of the room. "Good. You've passed the first portion of the test."

You straightened yourself a bit. "Please tell... why was that a part of the test?"

Zhongli chuckled. "Apologies. I needed to find out if you were truly ready for this. Seeing your capabilities, you will do fine I hope. Although, you do need to learn to stop underestimating, and to be a little less reckless, yes?"

You sweatdropped to the memory of almost being caught by the guard. "Yes, father..."

He sighed, taking a vial from his coat, holding it and inspecting it. "Take out your knife."

You slipped the knife out of your cloak, and cut your wrist. Your father spun around, and poured the liquid on your bleeding wrist.

You hissed, resisting the strong urge to scream from the pain.

"Sit." Zhongli ordered, and you sank to the floor, the cold steel floor nothing to the pain you currently felt.

"Absorb the energy. Welcome the warmth. Once you've gotten used to it, tell me, then we'll continue. Understood?"

You tried to get a response out, yet failed to do so as a slightly muffled scream escaped you.

"Y/N. Do you understand?"

"Yes!" You hissed, and bit your tongue to keep yourself from screaming again.

Zhongli could only stare at you with pity.

"Hold on..."

"Hold on."
