Chapter 12

Chase

The pup jumped on her, got into a protective stance and growled at me. I was stunned for a couple of seconds looking a the pup with surprise written all over my face. I looked at Sasha and then back at the pup. After the surprise left me I picked up the pup from Sasha and looked at him.

He wiggles in my hands, trying to get out of my hold. I had to admit he was kinda cute and, now that I think about it, it would be nice to have someone else to help me protect Sasha.

I put him down and pat his head which seemed to get him to stop growling. I sit down on the bed next to Sasha and pulled her into my lap. The pup climbs up into the both of us, lays down and falls asleep.

"So, what are you going to name him?" I question.

"I don't know. I'm still thinking about that. How about Dillan?"

"Yeah I guess he's your dog or well wolf pup."

"Well Dillan it is then."

"OK well I've gotta go talk to my parents. Again. I'll be back soon, I promise."

"Kay." She kissed my cheek and I kissed her lips then left.

Sasha

After Chase left I watched Dillan sleep for a little while before I decided to go get something to eat. I stood up from the bed and started for the door when I heard something thump on the floor. I looked down when I felt something wet touch my feet and saw Dillan licking me.

"I was going to let yo sleep but seeing as you're up you can come ear with me." I told him.

He pranced around my feet and jumped up and down looking at me with his adorable face.

"Fine I'll carry you just this once though. That's probably a lie but whatever." I bent down and picked him up.

I walked down to the kitchen and looked in the fridge. I had put Dillan down on the island in the center of the kitchen and I forgot that we had a bowl full of trail mix (don't ask me why) on there. I found sandwich stuff and turned around to put it on the island. Dillan had eaten more than half the bowl of trail mix and was still going.

"Dillan! No! Bad boy! Stop!" I grabbed him off the counter and looked at him. "Bad boy! Ugh! I shouldn't have put you on the counter. Chase is going to be so mad at me."

I put Dillan in his cage for now and cleaned up the mess he made. I made my sandwich and sat down on the stool. I know that I should probably leave Dillan in the cage but I couldn't stand him whining and crying I had to let him out.

"Awe mommy's sorry. I didn't mean to stick you in that horrid cage." I pulled him out and kissed him head.

We played around for about and hour maybe and I had to pee really badly. I walked to the bathroom and did my business and when I walked back out to the living room I freaked at what I saw.

Dillan had ripped the couch pillows up and peed all over the floor. Chase is really going to freak about this.

Chase

I was on my way home from my parents. We had a long talk about Sasha and the pup. I am really starting to like the puppy so hopefully he doesn't do anything to piss me off. I shouldn't have spoken so soon.

I pulled into the driveway and turned off the car. I got out and walked to the door. What I didn't expect was walking and the house and find a mess.

I looked around and saw Dillan sitting on the ground while Sasha was trying to clean the mess. She looked up when she heard me come in.

"What happened here?" I ask her.

"Uh... I... Uh... Please don't give him away." She studdered looking at me with tears in her eyes.

I don't know what I was going to do but I knew that I couldn't do something that would upset her and make her hate me. Oh boy.
