We were in the car on our way to her parents house. We had to search where they were because they moved when Sasha was five and she didn't get to see the new house. It took us a long time to get out of the house because my parents were making a big deal out of us leaving the house but that's not up to them any more.
We were about an hour into the drive with an awkward silence going on between us and I didn't like it. I glanced at her from the side of my eye and she looked like she was having an inner battle with herself. I felt bad for keeping her locked up like how I did and now she looks nervous to see her parents for the first time in ten years.
"Are you ok? You don't look so good." I asked her.
"Huh?... oh um... I'm fine, thank you." She replied.
"Ok, we're almost at your parents house by the way." I informed.
"Ok. Thanks." She said.
I looked at her with uncertainty and concern written on my face. She glanced at me, but quickly looked away because of some unkown reason. I looked away from her to see that we were at the driveway of her parents house. Out of the corner of my eye, Sasha look up with an expression that I have never seen on her face ever. She looked excited and afraid at the same time.
I pulled up into the driveway put the car in park. I looked at Sasha and she looked like she was about to break down and cry. She looked at me with sad eyes and I didn't know what to do.
"Are you ready?" I asked her because I couldn't stand the way she was looking at me. She nodded her head instead of saying something and I could tell that she had a lump in her throat.
As I got out of the car Sasha was taking of her seat belt so I walked to her side and opened the door for her. She got out and by instinct I grabbed her hand. As we walking up to the door, Sasha had my hand in a death grip and she was shaking. I pulled her closer and knocked on the door. The door opened almost as soon as I knocked on the door. There was a women that looked as if she hasn't been sleeping and eating properly for a couple of years.

Sasha
When the door opened I saw my mother standing there looking really bad and as if she has had the worst past years of her life. The way she was looking at us made me sad because my own mother didn't recognize who I was.
"Mom?" I say in a small voice.
"Sasha? You're alive. Oh my God, I thought I lost you we put up signs and called the police. We were so worried." She said as she pulled me into a hug.
"John, honey, come look our daughter is here." To me she said, "Please come in. This is your house to after all."
I heard my dads heavy footsteps come running down the stairs that I saw. He came down the stairs and looked at me, then he came running to me and hugged me.
"Oh my God, I can't believe that you are here. I thought you were gone. I'm so happy that you are here, I missed you so much." My dad cried. Like literally cried. For the first time ever I saw my dad cry.
After all the crying and drama, my parents finally noticed Chase standing by the door while I just remembered that he was there.
"Sasha, who is this?" My parents asked at the same time. They looked at each other and laughed.
I look at Chase and he looked as if he wanted to leave. I walked over to him, grabbed his hand and pulled him to the couch. I sat down and pulled him down next to me.
"Mom, Dad, this is Chase. He's the boy that pulled me out of the car after the car crash." My parents looked at me with a confused expression. They looked from him to me then back. Then they looked at our intertwined fingers.
"Really. What does this boy mean to you since you are holding his hand then? He obviously means more then what you just said." My father asked.
"John! That was very rude of you. I'm so disappointed in you." My mother told my father. He looked at my mom with a confused look on his face.
"Are you choosing their side over your own husband?" He asked her.
"Well, you are asking questions that is none of our business." She replied.
"It is too our business. She is our daughter for Gods sake!" He yelled at my mom.
"Don't you dare ever yell at me like that again. Do you hear me?!" She yelled back at him.
"Yes dear." My dad replied and he actually looked really scared of my mom.
"Good." To me she said,"I hope that what ever is going on you are happy and responsible." My mom told me.
"Thanks mom." I said to my mom who was still shooting knives at my dad with her eyes.
After my dad gave me an apology we had a long conversation and some catching up on eachothers lives since they never seen eachother for ten years. Everything seemed to be normal again.
