CHASE

We're 15-years-old now which means that another five years has gone by. Sasha still didn't talk to me or anyone for that mater. I'm wide awake with Sasha wrapped in my arms and I'm trying my best not to smell her hair and her face. I look down at her peaceful face as she snuggled closer to me. Sometimes I wish she would understand what I am and not freak out when I tell her that I'm a werewolf. I have to remember that she is human and I can't be as rough as I am with the pack.

After a couple of minutes passed Sasha woke up. She rolled over and looked at me, smilling, then realized something and rolled away from me. I try hard not to get upset and failed miserably so I decided to hide it instead. She looked terrified and shaky but then she suddenly calmed down like she does every morning. I don't know why I'm not used to this thing she does every morning but I just get so scared that one day she wont want to be near me anymore.

"It's ok, I'm not going to hurt you. You can trust me." I was trying to calm her and it looked like it worked because her breathing slowed down and she crawled back in bed.

"Are you going to be honest today?" She asked me.

"Are you going to talk, listen, and not run away from me?" I replied.

"I'll tell you what, if you be honest I promise not to do anything and I will talk. Deal?"

     "Deal."

We are back at the spot we were ten years ago, but this time she sat in my lap. Well she sat in my lap the last time, but this time she sat in my lap by her self. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close. She snuggled closer to me and her smell enveloped me. I buried my head in her hair and inhaled. I looked at her face and noticed that she looked... sad.

"Why are you sad?" I asked her.

"I don't get to see my parents, that's why!" She snapped.

I pulled back from her, put her on the blanket next to me and scooted away from her. She looked at me with regret and sadness writen all over her face. She scooted closer to me and grabbed my hand.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean for that to come out sounding so mean." She said.

"No it's ok. I deserve that for keeping you hear for the last ten years." I replied.

"No it's not ok and you don't deserve what I said. I'm just upset that I didn't see my parents in a long time and they are probably worried about me."

"It's ok I know what you mean." I said as I let my head hang.

"Stop blaming yourself for this." She told me as this, she pulled my head to her chest. I pulled her back into my lap and hugged her close.

"Would you like to go and see your parents?" I asked her.

"Really? You would do that for me? But what about our deal?" She questioned.

"Yes I would do any thing for you and our deal can ne dealt with later. Let me go and tell my parents that we are going to see your parents then we can leave." I told her as I stood to leave but Sasha had my arm and she looked like she didn't want me to leave her.

"Do you want to come with me?" I asked her and she nodded her head viciously.

"Ok then lets go." And with that we went to talk to my parents.
